well, in his first game in miami, he went for 28 points on 19 shots and was a +12 in a 4-point loss to a healthy orlando team, so maybe...juuuuussst maybe...he's good and tyronn lue's greatness is a sham. to be fair, though, he plays for an actually great coach now.
Some of my family/friends back in Kansas City actually know him and his family (they went to high school with him). From all I've ever heard Lue is a good guy. Also a good Laker IMO. I'm biased though so I bowed out of whatever it is people have against him on here.
As far as I know, isn't it just that he is a Clipper? C Bags and Clippers don't typically fare too well here. Likely nothing personal.
JJ couldn't help himself playing a no bigs lineup out there. If Jackson can't go, either Rui or DeAndre need to be on the floor at all times.
I wonder if us getting smoked on the boards in the first half will change his mind about starting Gabe against a big team?
Credit to him, he has the team playing with fire. Everyone believes the system and each player is trying to play the best they can. That doesn't happen always and it's the foundation to great things. As we get more chemistry and find the right pieces, we'll be a force for many years
Thanks coach for playing Smart with AR when Luka was out!. Lakers actually went on a run without Luka and kind of put the game away to finish the 3rd with that comvo
We will always have ups and downs but JJ has put my mind at ease with his coaching. I liked the hire but was slightly concerned. The truth is that there is a big difference in how a coach can coach when LeBron isn't on the floor. Hoping that doesn't change too much upon his return.
