luka's d wasn't very strong in some of those highlights, lol. they were exploiting his disinterest in chasing guys around screens.

the difference in talent between the teams is astounding. slovenia's got like, nothing; whereas serbia had at least 4 different guys hit iso crossover threes in those clips. slovenia's guard banked one in on accident.

i was wondering why luka doesn't get off the ball occasionally, and then i see a clip of the pg throwing the ball away trying to get it to him off a screen.

i guess the good news is that once the tournament starts, the wear and tear on luka should be minimal, as they don't look like they'll beat anyone.

 

Bonkers that Slovenia (such a small country) won Eurobasket in 2017 and got 4th place in Olympics in 2020. Dragic/Luka was a combo that made up for the lack of other talent.

Strange how Lithunia has kind of fallen off thee map and the Scandanivian countries haven't started producing more basketball talent

 

France without anyone like Wembanyama, Gobert,or even Batum beat Giannis and Greece in friendly game

 

Without Anthony Randolph who played for Slovenia they would've probably been eliminated long time before finals

 

definitely a lot of Luka getting frustrated moments in this one

talent discrepancy makes this hard to judge but he did blow some bunnies in this one and kept grabbing at his R knee. bad game for him tbh

The executives of the Lakers have arrived in Poland for EuroBasket. General Manager Rob Pelinka and former team owner Jeanie Buss flew to the European Championship to watch the game of Slovenia's star player and Lakers' Luka Dončić.

The group arrived in Katowice from Los Angeles on a private jet that took them directly to the venue for Slovenia's matches.

It is expected that the Lakers representatives will attend Slovenia's games against Poland (August 28) and against France (August 30).
If everything is going accordingly Luka and Slovenia will play Italy in playoffs and winner will have a chance to eliminate Serbia in 1/4.

 

Anyone know how we can watch these games? Are they televised in the US?
