Luka in peak shape is going to do fine on D covering the types he should be covering IMO to not be looked at as just a one way player. Not at 26 year old LBJ level of course.

 

That 3rd year option keeps the pressure on the FO, to keep a championship contending roster on deck, for the next 3 seasons. Huff is going to have more power around here, than Rich Paul. We'll probably add a couple more of his clients by then.

 

Only power will be from Mark Walter and his people. Agents will never run the Lakers again.

 

How do you know? I have zero concept for how Walter will run this team, other than he will likely build a better infrastructure, because that is what he did with the Dodgers. I really have no idea how he worked the recruitment channels. For all I know, he brings players in for the Dodgers by working with the agents. ?????????? Until Walter actually shows some tangible work with the Lakers, I will not really assume I know much about him.

Telling that all of Luka’s teammates were there for this contract extension like an MVP if Luka won the MVP. It’s a big deal. More than anything it’s a big deal to Luka. One of the biggest things is. It’s a shot to Dallas. You didn’t want to pay him and this is why you traded him. Well he’s in shape now signing this extension staying with us.
