No of course not. He wouldn’t tarnish his legacy playing for that Temu Lakers franchise. But, I do think it was his way of trolling us Laker fans and the front office for thinking we take him for granted. Lakers nation has always embraced stars who were all in and not lukewarm. You’re not gonna scare the average Lakers fan with veiled threats that you’re leaving. This ain’t Cleveland. Be all in. Things didn’t exactly go your way this time (Lebron). Get over it, stop pouting and help us get #18. That’s how you become immortal in the greatest franchise in basketball.

I think it's naive to think it just happened. Bron is a multimillion company, everything affects his stock and I'm pretty sure he has a team consulting his media content.
He also put a bunch of photos and it just happened the first is exactly that one. He knew exactly what he was doing.

I don't think he's signaling he's going to the Clippers. I think he just wanted to show he's bigger than anything else and can do what he wants. And get some media attention for a couple days.

Dude has always been very intentional with his media postings.
Even there being a question that it could be trolling us Laker fans is just annoying. The guy wonders why he will never be loved by most Laker fans like we did others- it’s the constant “Look at me, Look at me!!! Talk about me!!!” Garbage that he puts out way too often.
Sorry you big, entitled baby, this summer is all about Luka and the TEAM improving with its new additions.
It’s hilariously ignorant that he feels like he’s bigger than the Laker Franchise.

the "if he had a chance to" is doing some heavy lifting here...could have just said, "we'd love it if he retired a laker". which is equally non-committal.

i've already got in trouble in this thread perhaps overanalyzing, so i'll just assume it was rob being cagey but with less-than-optimal phrasing.

I think it's a low key back handed slap. I love it. Want more of it.

Imagine the restraint Rob has had since the Westbrick Debacle. He’s had an aircraft carrier’s amount of ammo to fire back at Klutch’s thinly veiled bombs in the media.
You guys know I call it like I see it and haven’t held back on my opinion of some of Rob’s moves, but keeping a cool head while constantly being jabbed and questioned has been his greatest accomplishment to date.
