Free agency hasn't started. We were never going to get a Center that would be in the rotation via draft. It was always going to be free agency or trade. Can we hold off on the dramatics of not getting a center this week?

No. It's ridiculous that we didn't get a 2nd rounder rookie to play center in the first year on a contending team!!! FIRE ROB

If we don't solve our roster issues with 2nd round picks, how will we do it??? Via trade?? Free Agency??? Please...

Yes, Adou looks pretty good. This will be one of LT's favorites and for good reason.

Has to be something in the works

There's no way we start the season without adding another big or 2

there was almost zero player movement on draft night(s) this year.

there's still plenty of time to get things done, and all reports indicate we've been active.

The last trade we did was for a center. Rob said center is a priority in the end of season interview and again yesterday in the draft.
    Can you guys chill?

And finally, we would be in a really bad place if our center solution was a 2nd round pick, so I really don't understand the expectations.
This draft with only a 2nd round was to prepare for the future, 2-3 years down the line. Find some guy with potential that fits a need in a Luka-centered team. We moved up 20 places to get an athletic wing that is crucial in any NBA team right now.

That's an A+ grade draft night for us, tbh

I like the Adou pick, we went and got the guy we wanted. Serious athlete with room to grow and learn from Bron.

This summer league will be fun, will try to follow it

Will Olivari play? I'm curious what happens with him, with a full preseason it's the right time to bet on him if there's any belief in his potential. He certainly fills a gap in our roster if he can perform as a bench microwave

I imagine Knecht will skip it, no? He'll average 40 there lol

Knecht will probably play 2 games the most. Quincy, Bronny, and the new guys should go for the title

Yeah, makes sense, top guys usually only play a couple games

It will be a crucial tournament for Bronny in his career. It will assess his development and if he does grow a couple levels on his overall play and his on par with other young guys with potential to play in the league, you can foresee him continuing to develop to become a rotation player.
I imagine he's working hard right now to be at peak form in a couple weeks

With Koloko looking good and Jemison knocking players on their a**es all over the place and looking better as well. Twin Towers the opponents as needed.

Then again we always feel this way about our Summer League chances and always get worked instead.

Dodgers have the best farm system in MLB I believe I read recently. Walters and crew I very much doubt are into pre-maturely jettisoning elite young talent that's rough in some areas. I really hope we can keep him and Rui too, and of course AR.

It would be wonderful to have the same kind of development team for the Lakers. That way we can bring in young players, develop them and that would allow us to afford some expensive FAs or add salary
