You know? What am I going to believe.....my "lying eyes" or most of us thinking they are exaggerating here.... what with all the questionable "in socks vs in shoes" height estimates?? Holy bleep he is tall!!! To have those kinds of skills and be that tall..... if he adds the decent amount of muscle weight minimally needed for success in the NBA per height weight statistics...... Phil might have himself a one of a kind NBA draft pick here.

i'll hold my judgement until a few yrs down the line. from what ive seen so far he hasnt wowed me has a nice shot and is very tall but nothing has stuck out

IF he gains some weight he could be better but i dont see him boxing out every night against his opponents any time soon, also not everybody is able to gain weight easily. i remember ariza having the same problem. he was going thru this regimen and was only able to gain like 3 pounds, everyone is different.

i was shocked when i saw the pick because if you have melo on your team why wouldnt you draft a player that will help him much sooner, winslow at sf and shifting melo to pf full time would have been an option

the way mudiay is playing in denver it just makes this pick seem like a waste.

this is the pick you make when youre rebuilding.

It looks like we have no offense. I didn't think Byron was coaching Summer League....

No one has any assists with this offense. They should try something else and let him create a little bit. If you are not going to do that, why draft a young PG?

That was a terrible game all around. Nothing good to say except for Jabari's performance.

Madsen drew up a play at the end of the game. Progress.

That sucked all around. Team was all sorts of out of rhythm. And I hate whatever this offense they're trying to run. Bigs are always near around the perimeter.

    Summary:
Jabari had some nice stretches, but showed that he's bench material by jacking up shots
    Nance needs a shooting coach
    Russell needs a passing coach
    Randle needs a shrink
Clarkson needs to skip SL. The sucking is rubbing off on him.

One of those games best to forget. Can't fix all the problems at once. Pick one or two and move on.

My best guess: The team had fun last night.

Tough situation. You want them to enjoy life and live a little, but at the same time, stay focus on the task at hand. What would Phil do in that situation? I'm thinking strict curfew. I could be wrong though.
