Tinkerbell cost us a shot at a Championship. Westbrook cost is a shot at not sucking as bad. Two entirely different scenarios. Both are gone...that part is absolutely true. Neither had anything to do with this disappointing playoffs.
I knew this BS is going to show up. Welp... see you all in October. Ain't no way I can bear the amount of idiocy that is about to ensue.
I would see what's out there in the offseason. I like Reeves. Just don't think he's a keeper. Not if there is a clear upgrade that fits the team.
I think he just got removed from the untouchable list. He doesn’t handle physical pressure well, so he’s got to go back to work on those things.
I think if he stays, he needs to move to the bench and be a 6th man scorer, run a 2nd unit. Won’t happen probably, but we can’t have him and Luka as a backcourt and expect to stop anyone, just can’t happen, same as Reaves and DLo couldn’t.
I would consider trading Reaves. It doesn't help his case that he failed to show up all series, but more importantly, we can't have 2 defensive liabilities out on the perimeter. We need a POA defender and a center. I'd keep Luka, Bron (by default), Doe, and Rui. The rest can go.
Man I really like Reaves. I don’t want to see him go… but it was painful watching him trying to guard Randle or Ant. That’s just not a recipe for success.
Please explain the two sentences. Am interested but even with phone pressed against my forehead can’t read your mind.
first was sarcastic, whole meaning is the williams trade might have saved us from this outcome. not sure why it's in this thread, but i agree it's possible. it's also possible williams looks like a deer in the headlights in his first playoff series and sits next to hayes on the bench, though. re: reaves, i remain on team "ginobili not nash". we need our bruce bowen (just you know, not a dirty bastard) for the starting lineup. go find him, rob.
