i don't know; probably? we would have been a threat, though, as we would have definitely found a way to clear the space for a max.

Is anyone concerned that if we go out in the first round, which unfortunately is looking more likely that Luka won’t be seeing that extension this summer with us?

If he needs to score 40 today, he will. I really believe that.

I expect Luka to have a big game and not let us lose honestly.

I'm not at all worried about Luka (As far as conditioning). Could he be better? Of course. I think he will be actually.

Him being sick for the game 3 didn't help the series. The main thing we are dealing with is the team being changed up at the deadline. Luka is heavy P&R. There really isn't anyone on the roster he can rely on to roll consistently. I look for a move in the offseason to add a big man. Then, adding more 3&D guys on the wing would help as well. The bench is really thin as far as shooters go.

I would love to see a title run this year but I'm thinking it won't happen. The trade was made for next year and beyond. Add some pieces in the offseason and retool the team around Luka and this is going to be looking like a dynasty.

Luka was great, he was tired to end the 4th but so was everyone else. Guys a killer though, not afraid of the moment or going at people.

Being that LeBron missed a huge 3 at 50 seconds left, turned the ball over on the next possession, and fouled ANT on the following possession. So, I'm not buying it.

yes. keep perspective. despite ant looking great at times, it's been clear luka's the best player in the series, imo. without his illness, it may be tied despite all the non-bron players being mostly a** for most of the games.

that one play where luka turned it over on the halfcourt double was a good example of guys/the team just not being used to playing with him. after the play, luka was yelling at rui about where he needs to be when teams do that--if you've played together long enough, that conversation doesn't need to happen.

we have some roster flexibility to tweak around luka this summer and have a strong season next year. but this means building with luka in mind. so...speed and general athleticism at the two other spots in the starting lineup aside from bron and reaves.

It’s funny I rewatched the last six minutes and yes Luke made some bad mistakes defensively, but I find it hilarious how he is the only star that seems to be criticized for his defense. No one ever talks about how Jokic gets attacked on every pick and roll or how teams are constantly attacking Curry on defense.

With the shock the trade, the calf injury, the feeling out new teammates, etc., I still don't think we've seen Luka at the peak of his powers. I don't think we're going to until next season, after he's had a full offseason to settle in, go through the offseason program/training camp, the roster is tweaked, etc. I think next season is going to be the best of his career so far.

Luka is great, but he also has clear holes in his game.

another year with the coach, some different banshees, maybe things change

but Lebron is 1 year older
