I’m not trying to throw shade. I’m just commenting on their performance. I’m still expecting a lot from KCP as he is kind of this prime vet age where his knowledge and ability should be peaking.

Kuzma on the other hand is in his prime at 29. He has always felt he was a better player than he was, but now he has been put in a fantastic situation and criticism is fair game right?

Westbrook at 29 was the MVP of the league, not sure why we need to compare him to Kuzma? Seems odd.

Denver (like GSW) just need to go the f*** away.
I hate them less sine Mikey is gone but i still can't stand that scrub Murray, who turns into prime Kobe when he's playing the Lakers.

The point I was making is that fit matters. I never claimed that they had the same skill set.

vando aside, the rest of the bench is absolute garbage. playing the same 5 players an entire half is insane, but no one else on the bench has proven they can do anything

I'm sorry to disagree with a lot of people here, but if Hayes isn't going to play any meaningful minutes in a series like this when we have no other option, he shouldn't stay even as a backup.

I actually agree. If JJ won’t play him as a starter, no way in h*** he plays him as a backup.

eh, we didn't answer the bell in game 1, and it has carried through the other games. i do think that the unfamiliarity with luka has hurt a bit in this series, as previous luka teams clearly understood how to exploit that halfcourt double, and we're still having turnovers there in games decided by one possession.

we were a rotation player short this year--which was something most of us understood from the time of the trade (we were two rotation players short before that).

just a shame we wasted another year where lebron could be playoff lebron (though, in fairness, he wasn't playoff lebron in game 1 when we truly lost the series).

To be fair, LeBron was 0-3 with 2 turnovers in the 4th tonight. So he clearly ran out of gas and it’s another reminder that he isn’t 2018 or even 2020 Lebron.

This series is tough because we are giving up so much size and as a result, it effectively rules out Gabe too. Vando can’t play much because he can’t shoot or finish at the rim. Goodwin is good on defence but he doesn’t have anything for the offensive side. Hayes is… dismal.

So we are really only down to 5 playable guys. I would argue we needed 2 more pieces.

We need a big, and we need a bigger POA defender. We’ll have the ability to address this in the offseason.
