The contracts are public records. We don't pay bigs, look it up.

I know lots of people miss the bubble team. But gosh it’s tough watching KCP and Kuzma just be non factors and negatives in these playoffs.

we let lopez go, and we traded zubac. it was clearly a (bad) philosophy. i don't think we're there now. i think rob hasn't paid centers because we haven't had opportunities to do so since these bad choices.

they both need to be slotted properly, and neither is quite there (kuz is still being asked to be a 3rd scorer, and kcp needs to be the 5th starter/6th man with a couple dominant offensive players up top).

but yeah, not sure i'd prefer them over DFS and gabe/goodwin right now. maybe kcp over the latter, but that's purely theory, not based on his current production.

Kuzma has been terrible, we can argue he isn't slotted properly, but if he isn't a scorer, what exactly is he? He was in Washington as a 20 point scorer, he goes to the Bucks where they want to play serious basketball and he just can't contribute.

The KCP one is a bit stranger to me. He has Wagner and Banchero ahead of him that are pretty great. I think that core of Wagner, Banchero and Suggs are going to be great, they all attack the basket, defend and they're big. If they can develop some shooting between them, they're going to be a real problem. But KCP should theoretically be perfect for them, a 3&D SG. His defence is still holding up, but his shooting hasn't been good since he arrived to Orlando. I actually don't know where Orlando should go from here, if they stay patient, they'll be real good. But they need some help in the shooting department from their 5 and another guard.

Kcp's shot came and went randomly when he was here.

If I had to pick a center that was gettable I would have said this Williams dude.in.Charlotte is interesting lol

Maxi, Gabe, Vando and Dalton works for Ayton
Portland takes on some salary but gets a good prospect. Big contract but Ayton on a contract year is interesting. Dude doesn't really care all that much but he's huge talented and money motivated next year

yeah...i'm still bummed about that. when we made the luka trade i was ecstatic of course--but i was like...the team has holes, so we can't compete this year at the level you'd like to with luka in the fold. then we got williams and i was like...wait a minute...

and then we decided he was damaged goods.

just can't help but feel like had we kept him, we'd have a solid 8 (instead of 7) man rotation right now and wouldn't be lamenting the lack of rim protection/secondary paint scoring.

It's Cleveland or Boston this year. I think they're better then everybody including OKC. OKC easily could be in a tied series right now of Ja wasn't so reckless

yeah, this series is completely different if the lakers have a solid big like williams. randle and mcdaniels wouldn't be doing as they please down low at the very least

As for the throwing shade at ex Lakers who contributed to our last Chip, I don’t get it.
Yeah, they aren’t lighting it up, but fit is a real thing for 99% of players in the NBA.
Not everyone can be the type who just automatically shines with whomever you put around them. Even while on that Chip run, both Kuz and KCP were inconsistent role players. They aren’t ever going to by guys you can count on every single night.
Westbrick was a former MVP, triple double monster who didn’t fit in well with either LA team, but seems to now with Denver.
