If OKC has a disappoint playoff exit I could see them throwing a bunch of picks at the Pelicans for Zion.

i'd probably sell high if i were them. he looked pretty good to end the season, but he's been so unavailable.

very easy for a new gm to come in and burn stuff down, too.

Boo Len is worthless. If someone gets hurt trust Jemison to get you 10 minutes in a game way more than Len

warriors needed 18(!) FTs from butler alone and for morant to get injured to barely beat memphis. i think their series vs houston for sure goes 7 and the rockets have the athleticism to beat them

Warriors offense is really rough. Green cannot finish in traffic and his 3 point shooting just like Payton and Butler is an adventure.

Maybe they go more offense in terms of players but I don't see how they score against Houston which is much better defensive team and far more athletic than with the clippers or memphis

Rockets team is inexperienced. I can see the Warriors beating them. They're a well-rounded team without any legitimate superstar so you're relying on mostly younglings like Sengun, Jabari, Green, and Thompson. They also can't shoot the ball well and the Warriors are pretty good defensively.

I'd lean the Warriors here, honestly. Probably in 6. And knowing the refs, they'll be clinging for a Lakers vs Warriors matchup.

I think the Warriors can win, but at the same time having to catch up from an early poor record has to have drained them some. Their stars in Curry and Butler are also both up there, and they rely on them a TON on offense, it’s pretty much them and not much else. So you’d have to think if they do get to the 2nd round and we do as well they’re going to be more worn out at that point.

Yeah, but that bracket with OKC and then Nuggets/LAC would've been a nightmare for them.

I just don't see Houston as a threat. The only thing I would be worried about if playing the Houston would be if Dillon Brooks plays dirty and injures someone. I'll be rooting for the Rockets against the Warriors but they're going to need their youngsters to show up.

I've seen a lot of Warriors scared to shoot in the 4th against LAC and Grizz .

Curry crazy shooting and Butler hunting FTs won't be enough against us .

They will beat the Rockets cause Houston has no closer , the worst weakness to have in the playoffs but they'll pay a heavy price physically wise

i want to see amen thompson chasing curry for 7 games. that will be fun.

dillon brooks and jimmy butler's actual fistfight will also be high entertainment.

Folks are really underestimating Houston IMO
They have a lot of size which GS doesn't have and unlike the Lakers GS are not big at the other positions and don't have guys like Rui and DFS who provide 3 point shooting and defense.

Plus they have the defenders particularly Thompson who can chase Steph with length and athleticism

Houston in 6 would be my guess. Houston is a terrible matchup for GS IMO.

i think it will come down to whether gs can stop sengun, actually. watching the game last night, i was like--if memphis had a better post player, they'd have manufactured a lot more easy buckets. especially if that guy was a threat to both score and pass from the paint.

if sengun can handle the swarming defense, houston can advance. and that will be good practice for facing us, should we advance.

we'll be harder to stop on offense than gs, imo.

I kept on thinking if Memphis was.a smart team they'd be up big last night. So many dumb fouls when they were in the bonus. Play designs going to JJJ who stunk outside the 3 ball instead of going back to that Morant PnR. Edey not finishing inside.

Yeah I came away from that game super frustrated with Memphis. They had the Warriors shook but Memphis let them regain footing with stupid turnovers and fouls.

The Warriors are closing all of these important games with Curry/Podziemski/Butler/GP2/Draymond. GP2 and Draymond aren't even looking at the rim when they catch the ball on the perimeter. Jimmy does, but he's extremely reluctant to actually take jumpers and just wants to do his foul grifting stuff. Poziemski has been shooting better over the last few months, but is still pretty up and down as an offensive player. Point is, these are not great offensive lineups. Houston can really clamp down on them with their size and athleticism. It'll come down to whether Curry can shake free for enough catch and shoot threes, and Jimmy can grift enough free throws, to outlast the Rockets who will probably also struggle to score in the halfcourt.

Houston will get rid of GSW in 5
Kerr is terrible as coach ,Butler will not get 15-20 FT every game . Curry won't be able to run like he used to 5 years ago

And Draymond will be playing vs Brooks not Sabonis when he stepped on his chest
