tbh, it would have been kind of b******* to sit everyone the previous game, then play everyone this game. i hope we can win and then sit everyone at portland. no sense in risking injury.
So we can land anywhere between 3-5. Do we care where we land? Or west is tough no matter what and if we’re deserving, we’ll advance no matter the opponent?
I actually don’t mind watching him play against us- I really enjoy watching whichever team he plays for lose. That being said, I like him 25 times more than Draymond “Donkey” Green. I just can’t stand how much the refs let him get away with. I have to suffer through it every time we play the Dubbs. I guess this is the team I would like to avoid for this sole reason. As for the rest of the possible opponents in the West, I’m not scared. We only lose to them if we don’t play up to our potential. As for the East, the C-Bags scare me a bit(complete team that knows how to win) as well as the Cavs- mainly because we could easily get overpowered and out rebounded by their frontline size).
No.Only 3 . Even if game won't be blowout there's no way Lakers will lose 2 absolutely meaningless games . Portland isn't playing starters too
We'll take the 3. Smart move by the Rockets, respect and big thanks, haha. Our game vs Portland will be 2 D-League teams competing for a meaningless win, with Bronny James shining bright.
So - we get Warriors or Wolves. Yuck. I guess the Wolves would be better - we got plenty of guys to throw at Ant. But we will get killed on the glass and by Randle.
Warriors win their game, Minny wins their... who do we play? Im lost OK, i get it... i think. Can't play Clipps since they have the tiebreaker over both gsw and minny. Since clipps will play reserves against gsw, looks like Dubs it is.
Warriors is our toughest matchup in the West without a doubt .. Our new force ( small ball) has been their identity for 10 years . Good news is Luka is Luka again so we should win this
Lakers are 3 All possible variants for tomorrow, except for Memphis loss DEN win, LAC win (GSW loss), MIN win, MEM win: 4 DEN 50-32 5 LAC 50-32 6 MIN 49-33 7 GSW 48-34 8 MEM 48-34 DEN win, LAC loss (GSW win), MIN win, MEM win: 4 DEN 50-32 5 MIN 49-33 6 GSW 49-33 7 LAC 49-33 8 MEM 48-34 DEN loss, LAC win (GSW loss), MIN win, MEM win: 4 LAC 50-32 5 MIN 49-33 6 DEN 49-33 7 GSW 48-34 8 MEM 48-34 DEN loss, LAC loss (GSW win), MIN win, MEM win: 4 MIN 49-33 5 LAC 49-33 6 GSW 49-33 7 DEN 49-33 8 MEM 48-34 DEN loss, LAC loss (GSW win), MIN loss, MEM win: 4 LAC 49-33 5 DEN 49-33 6 GSW 49-33 7 MEM 48-34 8 MIN 48-34 DEN win, LAC loss (GSW win), MIN loss, MEM win: 4 DEN 50-32 5 LAC 49-33 6 GSW 49-33 7 MEM 48-34 8 MIN 48-34 DEN loss, LAC win (GSW lose), MIN loss, MEM win: 4 LAC 50-32 5 DEN 49-33 6 GSW 48-34 7 MEM 48-34 8 MIN 48-34 DEN win, LAC win (GSW loss), MIN loss, MEM win: 4 DEN 50-32 5 LAC 50-32 6 GSW 48-34 7 MEM 48-34 8 MIN 48-34
Bonkers: so the way I'm reading this is that LAC are not going to throw this game. they have real incentive to try to avoid the playin here.
Alright guys, I'd really like to see many of you in Game Time tomorrow. I know the game is early, but it is going to be so fun discussing all other games that start at the same time. It's going to be crazy!
LAC absolutely want to win the game. For them it's going to be pedal to the metal. Unfortunately for the Warriors, the Clips are one of their nightmare matchups. For Minny, there is absolutely no way to lose against the tanking Jazz, and Denver is complete, playing against the Rockets G-League team -- so all those scenarios where they lose are out of question, IMO.
