i think that ref tossed him because he knew luka was about to beat okc on his watch, and he was annoyed that there was nothing he could do to stop it otherwise.

 

We were the 3rd choice, but at least he had a relationship with Nico, but Jeanie had to sign off on it. I'm still pretty sure that some things, were divulged to the ownership about Luka's situation, that have not been disclosed publicly. Saying no to a Luka for Ant trade doesn't quite seem right to me. Edwards is nice, but he's not quite at Luka's level IMO.

Talking heads are, well, stupid. Most are saying he needs to tone it down. WTF are they talking about? Nearly every offensive player yells something after a play to the refs. If anyone watches the game (which I'm not sold these talking heads really do) then he (Luka) isn't doing anything different than, lets say, Lebron.

Now, on that particular play Luka was running down the court and away from the official. Even if he said "call a F'n foul" it should of been a play on. He didn't show up the ref (even if he was addressing the ref) and should of been a none issue.

I also think it's wrong to compare it to Draymond as he is way out of control. However, pick a star player on any team that doesn't get a lot of calls and you will see a lot of complaining/chatter from them. Players are responsible for knowing they are too close to the line BUT refs have to understand it's about the players/game not the officiating.

 

Well MJ whined his a** off, for his entire career IMO. As great as he was, you weren't allowed to touch his Airness, after the Bulls finally got past the Bad Boys.

Honestly, I think you nailed it. He knew Luka was taking over and couldn't have it. That's why I said I would check bets as well.

They let them play more in the playoffs and don't call it quite so sticky. It worked for SGA in a couple of games for SGA getting calls against Dallas. But, for the most part it went similar to Harden how all of the calls dry up in the playoffs.

These playoffs are going to be a blast. The only team I'm worried about are the Warriors and Boston.
