Great game from DK in a gritty loss in DEN. I get the feeling that at or near the top of his bucket list is an Antman-style posterizing dunk. He's come close on three attempts at that now, at my count, including one tonight where it looked like he was going to destroy the rim after going up vertically from at least 3 feet from the rim. So close! My gawd the HOPS on this white kid! I'm really glad the trade got rescinded. It would be nice to have a healthy Mark Williams-type, but Mark Williams was clearly not healthy. You're 23 and got to sit out BTBs? Hope Knecht-4 is not in concussion protocol after that nasty-azzed fall.

Wow, was it fun watching AR + DK ball out last night. They have great chemistry both on court and off. Let's not be so quick to throw that away next time please.
It’s not too late for some of y’all who have dug in with stated disbelief that JJ will have Dalton ready for playoff rotation minutes by the time we get there …. to save yourselves some crow eatin’ later. Just like happened with Max showing out, AR to the moon this year, Jaxson blowing up, Goodwin making the leap from tossed around G-Leaguer to NBA rotation valued contract on the LA Lakers coming up … DK is improving and looking more and more ready for it.
We'll see when Rui gets back bro. The Rook has gotten over, getting almost traded for sure tho. He needs to chill on some of these Ja type dunk attempts, that fall was scary.
It's going to be tough here for Dalton once Rui come back The rotation seems to be in these tiers Big 3 Rui, DFS, Jax Gabe, Vando, Goodwin Dalton Koloko, Jemison Len Rotation tend to get shorter the farther you're along in the season particulalry int he playoffs but who knows JJ seems to like telling his defensive guys to go all out in limited minutes so may have a curveball idea here.
.... and we NEED scoring off the bench. IF Dalton becomes not a "big" liability on defense and gets more consistent with his role of scoring when he comes into games, JJ is going to do his best to make that a "possibility" to be used in the playoffs. There ARE going to be other teams using a few rookies in the playoffs. I think JJ is working with him perfectly, especially on the confidence/mental aspect of what it takes to play in the NBA. He's definitely gotten better on defense. Will it be enough by then? I think there is a good chance he sees minutes. If he's stroking that 3 ball and scoring in other ways in the flow of the offense .... why would you park that on the bench.
I’m loving the progress Dalton is making. I still think he’ll be a break in emergency sighting in the playoffs in case Reaves or someone is in foul trouble. Or if Gabe goes completely cold. I think this is the pecking order if I’m being honest: Luka (38) / Gabe (10) Reaves (38) / Gabe (10) Rui (30) / DFS (18) Lebron (36) / DFS (12) Hayes (24) / Vando (24) With Goodwin the next up, followed by Knecht and maybe one of the bigs if required (Kleber if his healthy can take Vando out of the rotation).
