honestly, for the first three quarters of last game, he was daring lebron and luka to beat him (and they mostly were). key for dalton is to be able to withstand the classic lue "find the iso advantage" offense. i know this is all part of his offensive genius philosophy (nevermind that despite having lots of good offensive players his teams have never been great on offense...), but you can bet your a** that when dalton is out there, he's going to look for him. if you want minutes; make a stand there. don't be norm powell's b****.
Huge game from Dalton, we don’t win this if he doesn’t step up like that. 5-8 on threes for 19 points, good on him for continuing to stay ready not knowing which games he’ll play and which he won’t.

He's been fighting on the boards lately, it's a good sign. But he'll take a lot of time to learn to defend, if he gets there. Hope he continues to maximize this opportunity. The way our roster is shaped, anytime one of Luka, Bron, AR or Rui miss a game, he's the next man up with an expectation of getting double digits
I hope he overcomes all of his obstacles and dark outside forces and carves out a nice career for himself.
