    I actually think that pretty true. Luka still has a level or two better once he really learns where his teammates like passes and the offense

    When I saw this version of Luka, I knew he was back. The 16 point first quarter was a strong indicator, as well.

    His defense should also get some love tonight. He was moving out there. Great job on the passing lanes, hitting the glass, competing on switches into Joker.

    Good game from 77. Still finding his groove but this is a start. Cooper on Slam Dunk says that step-back J is A travel violation.

    Different ballgame with Luka here as far as us vs Denver. He doesn’t have our history with them, nor did it seemed like he cared, just wanted to beat them. Love how that changes things going forward, this dude isn’t afraid of the big moments. Also pretty funny how much mocking of him has gone on on social media after his first 2 games here, all the blaming LeBron, calling him washed up and other such nonsense. As if coming off of that injury and joining a new team with entirely new offensive and defensive schemes would mean he would instantly be amazing here. Turns out he’s pretty good once he starts to get used to teammates and play into shape.

    We do have the team for it. Our defense will keep getting better. Anyone that wants to play defense can play defense. JJ obviously knows what he is doing in game planning.

    This dude is a cold blooded assassin the likes we haven’t seen since 8/24. Played like doo doo vs Utah and Charlotte, then brings his A game vs. a top team like Denver.

    Hard to blame Luka for the complaining he was getting hacked non stop all night and was getting no calls. It’s getting ridiculous the amount of non calls he gets. Same thing with LeBron.

    certainly a step in the right direction

    watching him play tonight was the first time it truly sunk in for me that he's a laker. i think he also may have gotten over the trade shellshock too

    Yeah, but it won't happen. I've watched a lot of Luka games in national TV and he's going to complain and yell at the refs for a foul while a play is still happening.

    It's almost comical. He would fall down, get up, and while the other team is still running their play, he would walk past the players and straight to the ref.

    Not long after the Luka trade, I bought my first ever “authentic” version of a Lakers jersey, yellow Luka 77 from the lakers store online.

    Due to his best performance as a Laker tonight, I was prepared to purchase a second one, the purple “statement” jersey, but seems like most sites sold out of most colors and sizes for Luka.

    Does anyone know why our purple/away “statement” jerseys have the Jordan logo instead of Nike?

    No he’s still fat, but the purple uniforms definitely help, he’s much less of a doughboy than in the yellow. He’s fat, but he’s our fat boy now.

    Dude you should read back GameTime, every other post is fat related. In fact, the Lakers already stopped leasing private jets, they upgraded to cargo planes just to allow for all the extra weight.
