WMC 24-25: What To WMC About Now?

Just say no!! Hate all the lip flapping comments from this guy. He has said a number of things about Kobe that I don't appreciate. He had his chances. Plus some of the stories about his sexcapades make me very dubious of his locker room fit.

 

Getting sick of the Hayes slander. He hasn’t been bad and isn’t bad.

 

So glad that were really good at the modern game, but Im really not a fan.

 

Dwight was done the last time he was here 3 seasons ago. He's burnt to a crisp now.

 

Only thing I have to complain about is the Idiocracy of the Hornets owner.
Complete and absolute a$$hat.

 

Yeah he burned that bridge recently with all those interviews. Not sure why, dude should be thanking the lord that we accepted back with open arms after what he did previously.

 

We got a glimpse of how bad our defense can look without a true defensive big in that Utah loss.
Hopefully Jax & Lin can hold down the paint for us or we're gonna get smoked in the Playoffs.

 

Lakers went back to their old bad habits quick including JJ who expiremented with some lineups .

 

Rotations were odd but we had multiple guys on minute restriction, two of our top 8 were out and then we lost our starting center during the game. That's going to lead to some very unusual lineup combinations.

 

I really dislike Rui. He does nothing well, he’s hardly a jack of all trades. Reeks of AD with his unclutch a** missing 2 FTs we needed. Sickening.

Rui, have you heard of a shot fake? This dude loves to shoot 3s without letting anyone fly by, zero IQ.

 

This Team has lost all of it's rhythm & continuity on both Offense & Defense.
We had one adrenaline Game with Luka's debut & have looked absolutely terrible ever since...
This Team was just starting to roll & now we have to start over..

 

Well you take a super hot team focused on a core group who've played together around Lebron and AR were steamrolling teams even w/o AD

Now you get this big trade and team looks confused a lot
-Luka is clearly still not Luka
-AR and Lebron trying to figure out how to play with Luka and vice versa
-Defense was good for the most part but the Luka hunting is going to have to be figured out
-JJ is playing way too many players: not sure why guys like Len and Knecht are getting so many minutes. Team was winning with DFS and Vando getting minutes

Sucks but basically the hot team that was there is no longer there and you're basically starting over

 

RESCIND THE TRADE

 

LeBron was the only guy that showed up on offense. If Luka hit’s even 2 of all the shots he missed we win. He will start shooting well at some point.

 

Well if jacking up a ton of 3s is the brand of B-ball which is going to be played , this team is in trouble , healthy Doncic or not

 

50 threes?

 

Get used to the 3's - I thought the Lakers should have shot more frankly. Luka generated several open 3's that guys like Rui and DFS actually passed up on.

Luka is going to drive and find open shooters and when you have more downhill threats like Lebron and AR teams are going to give those 3's up.

 

It's going to be frustrating for a while. There's a reason why teams that make big moves at the deadline tend not to go on deep playoff runs, and we made about as foundation-changing a move as you can make in-season.

 

Sure, but this is the WMC Thread, & there's a lot to complain about.
Not all of us were on board with reinventing the Team mid Season just because we had a chance at a future star.
We may not have been Title contenders this year, but we were really starting to find our groove & had put together a string of really impressive wins. Not to mention that our Defense was looking stellar, even without AD...
Maybe this all pans out in the end & we figure it out & have longer, sustained success with Luka, but right now we look like garbage.
