I think that’s fine, it can always be changed later if needed, like if the bench needs more offense/the lineups need more balance. They’re both shooting great from 3 and either one is about to get a lot of open looks.

It's SOOOO nice to expect wins again and be treated regularly again to +20 point leads and being ahead most of the time in games. And even before Luka suited up and with Bron on the bench against Indiana you (well I did) had the feeling if they cut the lead to 5-6 points later in the 4th we would hit a few shots and get it back up again. Yet even as everyone says DFS hits the 3s the same and can supply the offense while being the quicker decision maker and better defender, in slightly less minutes he usually isn't close to the amount of points Rui is scoring, in his "happy" place in the starting lineup. This is why I didn't want to screw with it and then JJ came out and said the same thing. Although he said DFS could do his scoring either way. Rui is more aggressive toward scoring and I like that in our starting lineup. Hard to ignore anyone even Jaxson with all the excellent lob bomb tossers we have.
It’s honestly a fair assessment by yourself and JJ. I would prefer DFS’ defense in the starting lineup. But we’re starting the games off so well, why tinker with what isn’t broken. Rui also seems to play better as a starter and his effort wanes a bit as a backup. Which is odd since he’d have a bit more usage. But that’s the way it is
Weezy and Vlade dropped these in the optimism thread, but DAMN it I'm going to use them to throw some spotlight on HC as well JJ has been coaching his a** off. Simple as that. If only the national appreciation was as loud as the criticism was before the hire and during early speed bumps. And I think it's safe to say he was excited to add Luka

29 games left. Shorten your rotation man. I get you need to see how you incorporate Luka, but stick to a couple lineups, go with the most logical. If JJ is serious about winning, he will play Luka, LeBron, Hayes, DFS, AR like 38 mins per game. Gabe, Rui, DK, Vando should be the only ones coming off the bench. Len only if Hayes fouls out. DFS should honestly start and/or get 30-35 mins per game (minimum). Rui should come off the bench, but i get why JJ starts him. Rui should play 20-25 mins max. Zero IQ. Gabe can run 20 mins off the bench, same with Vando.
These rotations are strange. Feels like they he's trying to get too many minutes to too many marginal players
