This guy is "slow". What's to process Rook? Personally I thought he would be really really happy to be back and have another shot to work harder on his areas of weakness. What's your other option, Dalton?
C'mon guys he's a rookie and a human being .. He's back to the team and people who didn't want him anymore and there is still uncertainty over the trade .
We used to have a very bad coach who needs to talk to Dalton. Because sometimes you just need to man up.
Yes he is a rookie and he’s playing for a team other players would kill to play for. He’s making a living playing a game kids dream about being able to do. People get traded all the time. It’s not like we didn’t want AD, it’s just when you get a chance to get Luka you’d be stupid to turn it down. Knecht is dumb to be complaining in my opinion. Sorry I’m not going to apologize for thinking that because it’s true. Edit: I might fell differently if he had been here 10 years but he hasn’t even been here 10 months. He needs to get over himself.
He "needs more time to process it"? What has this league become? Dude, you are a rookie playing for one of the greatest franchises in all sports. You get paid $18.5 MILLION to do that. You just need to process that fact and do some work in the gym.
Whoever "leaked" that sure didn't do him any favors. Then again if true DK certainly didn't either. AR needs to take him out for a couple beers and talk to him and explain the facts of NBA life. OK ... in a kind and gentle way since DK does look up to AR. And he should. Austin will tell him to work his a** off so he can get to the point where he can flip all of his doubters the bird.
All correct, except our 270lbs PG should take him out for a couple of beers, since he is a connoisseur. He also got traded recently, so there might be something in common between them there too.
i think a good place to process this information is with the southbay lakers. seriously, i like knecht, but he's been a weak spot in the rotation in all but a handful of games. we're trying to make a run, and we can't afford to have guys who miss assignments routinely on both ends. south bay has time for that. i will be happy to see him once the coach at southbay says he's getting better about these things. for now, his minutes are going to rui and vando.
To be fair to Dalton, that account, LakeShowYo (among others), likes to reword or aggregate stuff to get attention. I post stuff from it sometimes, but usually just videos unless I see a sourced quote in quotation marks exactly as it was said originally. To that point
lol, my comments stand, as i was pretty skeptical that he would really say that to redick. i still think he needs some reps just running nba offensive and defensive schemes, and we can't afford to let him learn on the job right now.
Can we let him regroup a few games with SouthBay?? He can go score 100 points and feel good. I have some empathy but if that was me, I would be doing cartwheels up and down the court to be back. Until my knees collapsed anyway...lol. Dalton is going to survive but I agree with abeer, OJT right now is going to be tough. I would like to get him some minutes that twenty points in three-minute hand might come in handy later. We need wins and homecourt advantage. We have shifted from fifth gear into championship drive.
I’m a huge Dalton Fan. I’m not going to pile on based on a “maybe real” quote. I do think that some time down with South Bay could do him good because there’s no way he’s getting any minutes away from our new defensive golden boy: The Masked Man
