He looked gimpy after that charge in the 4th quarter. I don't if it was a knee, back or stomach issue. It looked concerning.

these guys make half court shots look routine. I'm out there winding up with a running start heaving with one arm lol and grabbing my back afterwards (Probably)

Playing with LeBron at 40 is going to open Luka's eyes to how Kobe and LeBron approached the game always being in top shape, and just maybe might motivate him internally to be a lot more serious about it if he wants to one day be in the all time GOATS conversation. Like Kobe in the 2008 Olympics showed all those other all star teammates what that really looked like and probably had a lasting effect on LeBron, either validating what he was already doing (doubtful because Kobe was absolutely crazy about the constant work) .... or showing him where he needed to work even harder.

Here's where Bron will have long term value for Luka the Laker

We gave him Bronny and Luka. He might never leave.

There are not five players I would take over LeBron come playoffs time.

Jokic, Giannis, Luka, and then who else?

You cannot beat the brains and experience of LeBron when it comes down to a playoffs series. He is dangerous at any age.

LeBron is the Tom Brady of the NBA. I would never bet against him in a playoff situation if he has the right pieces around him, which unfortunately he has not had since 2020. That all changed with the Doncic trade.

kawhi for whichever games he's able to play. maybe SGA. but yeah, it's a short list. and his new teammate's on it, lol.

well, to be fair, shortly after the guys named above would be anthony davis, who, contrary to narratives, is a playoff beast.

the story now is that luka has his best running mates yet, imo.

and seeing what he's done with less makes me feel like nobody should want to play us.

you mean as an offensive option or overall? i think lebron is still the better offensive hub, even now. but all things considered, AD is the better player--and he's not a playoff choker at all, quite the opposite.

anyway, i was saying AD slots in right below the guys listed.

I've always thought of LeBron as still the better player when he's actually locked in because individual offense tends to outweigh individual defense, but man what AD did to the Warriors in the playoffs in 2023 was incredible. Completely dominated the defending champion defensively and still put up like 21 and 15 per game on good efficiency. And last year he just about played Jokic to a draw. I don't think Dallas is going to win a title with him, but I do hope he gets at least one more big playoff moment. Like they upset the Grizzlies in the first round and AD is just awesome.

SMH. Glad he isn’t playing. Needs real rest. But could have said that yesterday so that someone else could have been honored and played. Selfish.

That's surprising. Usually when a star wants to sit but was starting, they play the first couple minutes. Get 1 bucket. Take a foul, wave and then sits.

If you had told me out of Bron, AD, Luka, AR, DLO, and Knecht that DK is the only one who's playing on All Star Sunday night, I'd have you locked up in an asylum.
