WMC: The reporters who strongly indicated Luka was debuting on Saturday causing ticket prices to skyrocket only for his debut to now be more likely for Monday

Guess I’m going to be at Crypto both Saturday and Monday… and now I gotta make sure not to pace myself on Super Bowl Sunday so I’m not too hungover the next day

Face of the basketball talking heads do nothing but s*** on the current game, players and how it's played. I don't see how the league hasn't stepped in. Just look at how much differently the NFL is discussed and covered on all of the networks.

I'm not suggesting yes men, teleprompter reading, and state media but we've gone WAY to far in the other direction.

This is worse than the $5 bin at Walmart that had 45 copies of the same mid 00s straight to the dumpster Steven Seagal movie. Doesn't even have a hard plastic case, it's that s***ty cardboard that creases before you get it home and never closes back up, so the top just flaps open.

Agreed conduct try outs…some athletic 25 year old 6’11 is bagging groceries right now somewhere, our scouts need to go after that man

 

Hornets just flat out tried to play us. Knowing we were up against the deadline they probably figured we’d still let the deal go through even when we found out they hadn’t disclosed all his medical issues.

If this happens to anyone else then there would likely be some response by the league but since it’s us and everyone is angry about Luka nothing will happen. Super irritating to say the least.

 

Front office was correct to pull the plug on it though. We’ve done so much to protect our picks at this point that we can’t just give them up for damaged goods no matter the need or potential upside.

also have to send a clear message to teams that they can’t get over on you.

 

…. Scouts on alert! Spread out and scour all shifts, all supermarkets in LA/the whole damn country if not found in LA. Failure is not an option. We know he’s out there.

small wmc: when the jazz went to a zone and we still had luka, lebron, and reaves in the game...why isn't the immediate move to put one of them in the center of the floor (luka especially). we had success using dlo like that earlier in the year against zones, and we still have several similar options, imo.

teams should not be able to zone up on us with any extended efficacy.
