No he’s saying Luka is a unicorn and that’s why he has a horn.

That’s one ugly a** unicorn. You know you see these “things” on wild animals and you just kind of “wonder”. And then you come across random crazy footage on youtube of them in knock down no holds barred alley fights …. and you go OH!!! that’s how they use that “thing”. Yikes!!!

I don’t think he should play until after All Star break. Still looks to be walking gingerly - even during shoots-a-rounds.

he's definitely put on some weight over time, and not all of it is "good weight", if you will.

the mavs weren't wrong that i think he'd be healthier and more effective if he was about 15lbs lighter.

    but this isn't a zion/harden situation.

He's needs to take his time and make sure he's 100% healed

No reason to risk reinjuring it

Yes but can you imagine taking a charge from that guy. You are getting impaled or crushed to death. Take your pick.

Having Luka and Lebron together makes them impossible to game plan for

This will be the first time Lebron will be playing with someone who is better than his current self. I can’t wait to see what that does to Lebron…I think they will both raise each others game based on ridic high IQ levels and ability from both, and we may see the greatest duo ever this year…and a championship

I’m pretty sure Luka won’t play until he’s 100 percent ready. Otherwise he would’ve been playing already.

As I said, all that "fat" drivel was for dumasses in Texas, so that they can digest what was being said. The real issue is, of course, conditioning -- same calf injury several times over the last several years (from what I could tell).

Lack of conditioning =/= fat. See Jokic, Nikola.

Welcome Luka! Heck, I would have been grateful to trade AD for some package of LaVine + Kessler + picks or something like that. I think possibly as the end of the day the AD antics wore thin on the Lakers, and even to an extent on Lebron. And of course, the opportunity to get Luka is a no-brainer if I have ever seen one. Annoying things about AD that I could think of at the top of my head:

    • The way AD reacted when Lebron broke the scoring record - this is TOXIC behavior
    • Regarding three-point shooting, AD saying something like he doesn't believe in analytics
    • AD's general fragility over the years, and constantly falling on the ground
    • AD being partially responsible for the Lakers trading for Westbrook
    • AD playing harder against DPOY players like Gobert and I think making passive aggressive comments like "defensive player of the year type stuff"
    • Long two-pointers being a large part of AD's offensive game - mucks up the offense
    • AD publicly requesting for the Lakers to trade for a big, so he could play the 4
I'm sure there are more that I am forgetting and not aware of, but the last one was the straw that broke the camel's back for the Lakers IMO.

You can’t be for real. All of that stuff you said is irrelevant and has nothing to do with this trade. The Lakers traded AD because the Mavs were dumb enough to offer up a 25 year old generational superstar.

LA weren’t going to trade AD for anything less then a superstar and rightfully so.

LOL ... no breaking of camel's back led to him being traded. Rob was offered Luka. Period.

We lost the game. I don’t blame AD for his reaction.

Lakers are what? 4-0 without AD? I wonder what the stats are? I most everything improved.
