I’m not sure how long he can sustain this. But LeBron is about to be the greatest second option of all time starting Monday. In any one series in the playoffs we may have the two best players on the floor.

Our 3-8 guys have improved too.

Fools gold in a long season. He needs to be load managed at 40, so the reinforcements need to show up and lighten his load. No way that is sustainable.

It is not sustainable. He’s just showing leadership right now and carrying because he knows the new era begins on Monday. Then he just needs to pick his spots, lead, mentor and work the crowd. That performance last night was legendary in every way.

yep, get us one more win tomorrow, then begin the process of torch passing, hopefully playing with a lot of energy but for only 28-30mpg.

Love the shot at Barkley here. Can’t move past this era of NBA commentary fast enough

LeBron sees a team that can win around him and is locking in.

Again, would not want to see him and Luka in the playoffs if I’m an opponent

it's approaching a back-to-back with the earlier start, so it makes sense to be cautious here. sucks that we'll probably a drop a game that seemed like a win, but we've also banked a couple that i thought we'd lose lately.

If he actually doesn’t play (not totally convinced) it’s AR’s team tonight. I read he tapped LeBron on the shoulder and thanked him for the win against GS Thursday night “with him not showing up”. Chance for HIM to pay that back today against the odds.

This is just another example of LeBron knowing how important these games are to playoff success. Substantial reinforcements are coming, and then he can throttle back a bit. It is like running the river, certain parts you need full throttle and then when the river is wide and slow you can sit back and enjoy the scenery. LeBron is playing this season masterfully. Good thing we didn't get rid of him in the off-season like LT was wanting to do...lol.

I was one of those when he first got here

After the championship it softened my thinking of him

Now at his age and doing what he's doing for us I'm a fan

Me too. Until the first game. Yeah he can be unlikable for sure at times but at their worst I think I liked Shaq even less about his personality …. yet of course thrilled to have them playing basketball for the LA Lakers and not an opponent’s team.

Agree with others. Glad he is sitting out - early game too and his body is on a clock.

He really should not be playing more than 62 games at this phase…. But he is no Kawhi.

Never been a huge fan of his…but I do marvel at the impacts he has and numbers he puts up at this age - when most all time greats were forked-done at age 36.

We have seen the team do remarkable things without AD and Bron (AR w/ 7 3s and beat Boston a year ago). Let’s hope…

Name 5 guys playing better than Lebron this season. At 40 years old, that s*** is amazing.
