just saying that paul is now a backup in SA, his family lives in la (right?), he's lebron's friend, etc. SA can afford to let kleber attempt to heal there, and if he's not able to, he's an expiring next year.

 

I think Chris is a mentor player in San Antonio.

 

yeah, and he's properly slotted as a backup. plus maybe they think it's not too late to make noise this year. i'm just not sure they've got a real shot until next year, hence why not send paul to someone who might contend now?
