Sharpe would be a decent stop gap center for us this season. Between Sharpe/Jemisen and Hayes/Koloko we have two big burley dudes and two rim runners. Then, we could also go small at times too. Sharpe does provide elite offensive rebounding, which is an area where we are last in the NBA, and also overall rebounding. It might just work out for us.

 

Yeah good for him. Really one of my favorite players in the NBA.

I really do wonder WTF KD thinks about himself. I don't think it's about winning, first and foremost...unless he honestly thought he could go to Brooklyn and Phoenix and get them rings and show how great he is. If that's the case - and does anyone really know? - he's as delusional as I've long expected. He stays w/GSW and wins another ring. It's just easier for them that year. But like I said, I don't think he's about that. He must be delusional. I mean, he's fantastic at scoring. One of the greatest ever. But...

Now? He's in twilight. If he ends up in SA ring-chasing, it will be Wemby and Fox that get the accolades, not KD and the 16 ppg he puts up that year. I think being glued to (anti) social media is toxic for some players; for KD it was very deadly-toxic. It really aided in his delusions, the way I see it.

 

Lonzo is a legend alright. A legend for Magic taking him over Tatem. Sigh.

 

Totally agree, we have a number of big physical forwards who can also shoot from 3. We are still a pretty good defensive team though we will probably get dominated by Jokic, not sure they have enough others to give our guys problems and I think, other than center, we will cause problems for them.

The next couple of weeks are going to tell us what we really have.

 

Mentally Softest of All Time

 

The issue with a player like Lonzo - who I would love back - is that, his health makes it too risky to trade a 1st for him. But if he is healthy, a second or even two doesn’t get the trade done. I think he’d be a terrific fit next to Luka and LeBron.

Yes. My guess is in case there isn’t a deal out there that makes sense for Chicago, they still have his services and they can use his for a trade later. And Lonzo gets guaranteed money right away.

Thinks the cost for Claxton is a first, swap and a 2nd. Without the swap, another team beats it.

His Sharpe info was posted by Weezy two pages ago. He did say that he thinks that's the most realistic option.
