Yup, but u can tell he's pretty shaken up. Looks like he's about to cry, not a single happy vibe so far :(

Where people like Luka, Jokic etc. are from -- ie. the Balkans -- it's absolutely grok, grok! :)

No one would understand the Hryuk word.

I am sure it's hard for him. He is still so young, and probably disappointed because he is still naive and believes in loyalty. Give him a couple of games, he'll come around. :)

    :)

It's amazing really. How about a frog? Russians would say "kva kva" or "kwa kwa". Americans would say (SMDH) "ribbit ribbit".

Luka right now reminds me of when Freddie got traded from ATL to the Dodgers. Freddie was shook for awhile about it because it was out of the blue. People think Luka looks sad and all which is logical because the dude got blindsided from the team he built.

I think it'll take him about a week to get his feet settled and we will see the new face of the team. I'm excited to watch this dude cook.

I sincerely hope he does re-sign with us, and this isn’t a 2.5 year rental.

Clearly, he doesn’t look THAT happy, but totally understandable bc of his complete shock and surprise with being traded from Dal. He said it many times, and is hurt by it.

If, worst-case, he doesn’t want to stay here past 2.5 years, I hope the FA market has one of the top dogs available.

Best-case, please Luka, stay here forever, retire a Laker, and you will be etched in Laker lore for life.

Coincidently, "krya krya" is the duck-ish things sound. LOL. You'd think slavic languages would be similar, but no...

he was the face of the mavs franchise and being traded probably never even crossed his mind. can't blame him for still being sad over the fact that they screwed him over, especially when he was 100% willing to sign a supermax contract there

Freddie actually signed as a FA with the LAD. It wasn’t a trade. But I see what you mean, ATL didn’t want him anymore or wasn’t willing to shell out the money, right?

Yeah, he's shell shocked no doubt. No one saw this coming. Hopefully at some point he will embrace being a Laker. There are no guarantees. He's not here by his own design. He's been betrayed by his former team.
