Luka is like a modern day version of Larry Bird. His go at you attitude is what we desperately needed. All those tight games we lost to the nuggets in the 4th. That doesn’t happen with Luka.

He’s going to destroy Anthony Edwards and Devin Booker for the next decade in the western conference. Only competition for him is Wemby who is a generational great himself if he stays healthy.

Jokic will age out. Unfortunately OKC will price themselves out of a dynasty again with SGA, Jalen Williams and Chet all having big contracts on the way. The future is bright if we can bring a running mate for him post LeBron.

 

I totally get it now from Nico’s perspective. I too would be be really frustrated with Luka’s lack of conditioning and how it could bring about even more injuries in the future. That being said, his numbers don’t lie and he may be the most clutch player in the game today.
This trade is the most even mega trade I’ve ever witnessed.
Also, a semi-truck load of more flowers for Rob for being able to keep the second pick and Dalton out of it.
