    So hear me out….

    Miami is trading Jimmy so big shake ups in the organization, so we need to target trading for Bam.

    Trade Rui, Gabe, Dalton, 2031 1st, and minor trash for Bam works financially I think.

    Bam is only 27 and fits like a glove for what we need

    Miami isn't trading Bam. IMO. They''ll build around Bam and Hero and whatever garbage they get from the Butler trade.

    I'm wondering what else Rob has up his sleeve...

    so basically this is the lakers throwing in the towel on this season and preparing for the post-lebron era, right?

    a lebron-luka duo isn't going anywhere considering how awful this team now is defensively

    unless there are more moves planned that would bring the lakers a compatible defensive replacement at the 4/5?

    Nope, thought I was seeing things when I saw a Luka thread in Lakers Discussion, thought Shams was hacked when I saw the tweet, still not sure I’m even awake right now.


    IMO, yes, this is the end of the era and looking forward, unless some other crazy moves happen to add defense to the team. Yeah, Max isn’t a star, but we are going to miss him in the now BADLY. He made Reaves starting at PG work, just like AD covered for Rui at PF.

    how isn't it? unless they can somehow acquire bam or someone similar, luka does not make this team better and no AD makes them a lot worse on D

    if we can trade for a high-caliber center, we are contenders and we still have assets for that. I don't think any center of this caliber will be available before the deadline. I would be really pissed if they traded AR for Kessler like suggested in the previous page.
