Last season through 43 games, 21-22, this season, 25-18. So yeah, relatively successful under JJ so far. This is cool too
Even with a few head scratchers and learning games JJ is clearly a good rookie coach IMO. He’s going to get the most he can out of this team. Most importantly I feel he really cares about winning.
Really liking JJ as head coach. Yes, he is in the early learning curve, but he is trending up. He seems to have the respect of the team which is huge. He is serious, a strategist, and seems to be instilling a much better culture than the previous Pockets Culture/ Now get him one more legit big and let's goooo!
.... and injury gods especially with Vando but generally be kind. Equals lots of headroom for that (very good) first year coach and this team to JELL before we hit the playoffs in a likely higher seed than now.
Yeah. JJ has had some growing pains but that lineup may have been the worst. Overall though, it still looks like our gamble here paid off and he's doing a good job.
Does JJ get a F or an A? Is he playing Phil style chess? AD has a generational quarter, making Rob pause about getting him help at C. So the only way to still highlight that need in a game like that was the second Q lineup that let a G-League team back into the game.
26-18 through 44 games and I believe we were 22-22 last season through 44 games? Chance to go 28-18 with the Sixers and Wizards games, which are games we SHOULD win. JJ has done a great job this season given the roster limitations...
I say we FINALLY have our complete roster, already improved with DFS >>> DLO for what we most need .... and Vando back now. Now judge the team Rob put together, not even counting Wood who was supposed to be here too and was a mid level performer just two years ago. With MOAR to come by the deadline very most likely.
Yeah been consistently within the 5th and 6th spot. A big difference with the 10/11 yo-yo from last couple years with minimal roster changes. He's good and I want him leading post-Bron. Let's see what he can show until then, especially in big games and with a full 2nd offseason that allows to go beyond the basic principles and schemes (which are good)
Last season Lakers after they won NBA Cup in Vegas lost 16 games in December and January. This year it's completely different 13-6 so far. Yes ,pimple was definitely worst by a mile
