Hearing Johnson and Carroll are the top candidates. I'm okay with either of those. I'd love to see us keep the Turners on at OC. It's more because of Norv than Scott, but the offense was better by nearly every metric after changing OCs.

Offense by the Numbers, Median Stats

    Pre-Turners
    20 points
    275 yards
    215 passing yards
    60 rushing yards
    2 TO
    2-7 record

    Turners
    19 points (-1)
    321 yards (+46)
    238 passing yards (+23)
    69 rushing yards (+9)
    1 TO (+1)
    2-6 record

It's worth noting that the Turners did their work without allegedly their best WR and best RB. In fact, they mostly did it with a third string RB and a rookie TE.

Sanders to Dallas? Glenn to New Orleans? McCarthy to Jets? I'd watch Chicago coveting Johnson.

    I think these make sense.

I have no idea about our GM situation. I just don't know GMs that well.

Jon Eric Sullivan...Ray Agnew are mentioned. Latter looks promising IF Johnson comes on board.

    Tom Telesco's 2024 Draft
    1.13 Brock Bowers, TE
All-Pro, Pro Bowl, Starter, 9 AV

    2.44 Jackson Powers-Johnson, OL
    Starter, 4 AV

    3.77 DJ Glaze, OL
    Starter, 5 AV

    4.112 Decamerion Richardson, CB
    3 AV

    5.148 Tommy Eichenberg,LB
    1 AV

    6.208 Dylan Laube, RB
    0 AV

    7.223 Trey Taylor, FS
    1 AV

    7.229 MJ Devonshire, DB
    DNP

Given LVR's draft positions, we should have expected...
0 All Pros. There was one in the whole draft. The Raiders landed him.
0 Pro Bowl player. There were three in the draft. The Raiders laned one of three.
2 Starters. There were 49 starters in the draft. The Raiders wound up with 3 of them.
19 AV. The Raiders wound up with 23 AV.
1 DNP. The Raiders had one DNP.

    Take
This was a really good draft for the Raiders. And Bowers wasn't the only player who outperformed his draft position. DJ Glaze, Richardson, and Taylor did, too.
I don't really see why we're moving on from Telesco, unless he was responsible for Minshew. That was the single worst acquisition the Raiders made.

I think Tom got the ax simply because they wanted the new HC to be able to work with the GM of his choice. I also think, if the rumors are real, that Tom not even trying to move up in the draft to get a qb was a huge mistake even with getting such a good haul.

Washington was NOT going to give up their draft pick and Atlanta chose Penix.

I don't think we could of moved up BUT I think if they never tried that is a red flag (possibly). That is just speculation of course.

Agree. The knock on Telesco is he is NOT aggressive thus the nickname Coupon Tom. Reports are that we did try but no dice.

Shame. I was on board with Johnson. I’m honestly okay with Pete.

Coen (HC), Spytek (GM), retain Graham for DC. Saleh would likely go back to San Fran.

    Edit: Coen to Jax. Monken?

Edit #2: Coen back to Tampa. Probably angling for Bowles' job.

I'm on board with Spytek. Seems like a great hire. It seems also like they will want to bring in a veteran QB. I'm hearing Jameis Winston (cringe) and Sam Darnold (probably will get paid far more than he's worth). I wouldn't mind Justin Fields.

I hate starting over again, but I'm excited about where this might be headed.

Baalke given the pink slip in Jax. Coen does a U-Turn for a second interview. Now they need a GM too. Tsk...tsk. Not believing anything until a presser is done on all counts.

    Update: Spytek 5 years
    Carroll 3 years

Spytek and Carroll could mean Wilson for a short spell. Maybe Winston. OC options? DC?
