He's a knucklehead but he has some usefulness.

Doubt it. It's the perfect excuse not to give the award to Jokic. It's something the league wants for a long time. He's European, from a small market, hates the media and has been winning consecutive years. All that the league doesn't want

Wilt, in 1961-62 went back to back with these #s:

    78pts / 43reb
    61pts / 36reb

Total of only 1 assist though. :LLLLLebronlaughing:

Embiid deserved it, Giannis deserved his too. SGA deserves to be in the running this year.

I'm a bit surprised that Tatum is still a distant 4th in MVP odds. He's not as good as Jokic or Giannis, but I think he's been a little better than he was last year. After the Olympic benching thing, I thought there might be a narrative push to give it to him.

    Yep.
Jokic is miles ahead the best player in the world. But I understand splitting the award with others
Yeah, he's my favourite to win it. Boston should end up 1st seed and saw the other day he was leading the team in pts, rebs, asts, stls and 3pts

We already had him last season. He's basically a stiff.

Preseason. He tried to make the team. Reminds me of Eric Dampier.

Sources reported that Nets received trade offers and began preliminary negotiations on forwards Cam Johnson and Dorian Finney Smith as well as Dennis Schroeder.
This was reported by ESPN insider Shams Charania.

Warriors are among the teams that have shown interest in all three players and they definitely will do that before Lakers and Pelinka

Indy has lost two centers. If they are waiving him while in desperate need of bigs, I guess that's all I need to know.

i'm guessing the warriors are willing to move kuminga, and we don't have anyone with that level of upside aside from maybe knecht, who i'm sure we're not interested in moving. they might also sell high on wiggins before he regresses again.

anyway, they have a lot more talent that they're willing to move, imo. our game is trying to get upgrades by moving undesirable players. it's harder.

Has to hurt the confidence when you get waived when your a center and the team has already lost 2 centers ahead of you with ACL's - ouch

best i can figure is maybe some sort of snowball effect, wherein injuries to some guys create greater chance to injuries for more guys?

i will say that both orlando stars going down for a fairly extensive and rare muscle injury makes me look sideways at the training staff...

Delusion. Brandon Ingram is now worth more than $40 mil per year, and taking into account he’s injured every single season and the number of games he plays at most is in the low 60’s every season, come on, be serious. No team is paying him that

whoa...if they were willing to go that far, i think they should just hammer something out. did ingram switch to klutch to try and get more than 50 million per? from whom?! the few teams with space next summer probably aren't imagining using it that way, right?
