Not sure I know what to do really make of proprietary stats like this (I think it's Synergy based) but it's add fuel to the fire that you just can't trust Rui in a playoff series. Again I think he's a rotation player on a playoff team but the team really needs a good defensive wing with some offensive juice to be able to fit into either Rui or DLo slots. I've been a big proponent of Bruce Brown but that knee injury looks worrisome. The guy the Lakers should target is Cam Johnson IMO as he kind of hybrid of what you get from Vando and Rui separately. I would love a DLo/Vand/Mas/JHS for those two
Too bad we can’t find a poor man’s Robert Horry type to place alongside AD. That dude was so clutch with his shooting and could play decent D. I guess Kief was that for us in the Bubble but then somehow fell off a cliff after the Chip.
I think we need one of him or Reddish tomorrow...need someone to guard Markannen. But yes, we should not need him so I hope he rests up and he's fresh for Orlando/Denver this week which is where we'll need him
How can you complain when you see your replacement going off like that or defending like that. That combo of Cam and Knecht just works better than Rui and DLO. But those guys should also FEAST on 2nd units, so it's not a negative thing at all. Makes our bench better.
