Huff's frontal balding helped him out. His hair was weighing down with the Lakers so now he's got extra lift with the Grizzlies

Yeah, I wanted Huff to get more burn with us, but wasn’t a fan of Pippen due to his size.
A little bummed nobody in the FO saw much in either to be patient.
That being said, no Franchise bats 1000 with these types of fringe players.

What'll really be funny/sad is if Mac McClung too were to take the same next leap with Orlando and secure a roster spot from his 2-Way and also play well as a rotational player off the bench. It could happen. He was the MVP of the G-League and of course 2 time defending NBA dunk champion if you're wanting "athleticism" and built like a brick ****. 6'2" 175lb while Pip Jr is listed at 6'1" and 170lb.

There's another lil Pip to either right the wrong or develop for Memphis.

I was with you on both TBH.

I liked Huff. Thought he held up pretty well on defense and the glass vs Castelton who I thought struggled due to his lack of both strength and jumping ability. His shooting also seemed like it would continue to improve as he had good form and mechanics.

Pippen looked really small in his NBA minutes with the Lakers - he kind of got gobbled up when he drove and struggled to finish. Kudos to him for figuring it out

I agree. Simple aerodynamics. Less hair in front allows for more lift, torque and thrust; the engines (legs) have less work to do, and with the doors closed in the arena, no dangerous down-drafts that could plummet him back to earth (court) after propulsion from 10 feet above the surface of the court. It's called hypersonic flow, people.

As long as we don’t give away Quincy, I’m good on losing SPJr and Huff.

Quincy is more talented than either

i agree on this one, but i've been wrong before.

would definitely like to see olivari get at least some run with the big squad this year.

I’d love to see it, but we have no shortage of guards. I doubt he gets any run even though I wouldn’t mind threatening Gabe with Quincy taking his minutes.

Heck yeah, 3s is his main thing. He also seems to be a good defender. Its good that he is multi dimensional. We haven't had a lot of multi dimensional players in recent years. Net is multidimensional on the offensive end.

I guess maybe Olivari dropped because he is an under sized shooting guard and a 4 year not exactly blue chip player. But we don't care of he is an undersized shooting board because we have oversized functional point guard types in Lebron and Reaves. Vincent is the one that is the real tweener because he can't shoot.
