I had really, really wanted that to happen too. We could have really used Valenciunas. Maybe we can get him still, but would have been nice to just do it in free agency and not give up assets.

Ramping up again. Ridiculous performance tonight. Bonkers that the NBA all team leading score should have been a PG

I realize some of you guys have Lebron in your top 10, but..... If Lebron decided to go for averaging a triple double this year (Less scoring, more all around play is what we need from him), and we win big in his year 40 22nd season, he will get more attention for GOAT. Until then, he's just top 20 at best.

    Get off my lawn

Top 20. Ergo …. there could be 19 players ranked higher? At best. Even Kobe would  at that.

Enjoy it while he's still out there doing it

    Fan should've gotten game ball

He found that gear when AD had to leave and had his finger prints over everything that happened from that moment forward. Historically, if there's an opponent he doesn't respect, he's not pulling that out of his bag in November no matter what. Props for ratcheting up the level of play and the team really fed off that.

This is why we need reenforcements, Toronto was on a back to back, without their best player.

Third straight effortless looking triple doubled, in year 22 is just wild. Shooting 44% from 3 before this game, hit 4/7 in this one.

Did folks really think he's worth only 20 million a year?
Bonkers that his 3 point shooting has gotten so good it's making up for the clear drop off in athleticism.

If Knecht can play like this he might end up leading the league in assists

lot of talk about triple doubles, but my favorite moment from the grizz game was sometime late third/early fourth when lebron took two jjj full-thrust forearms to the chest and pushed his a** back, collected the miss and made sure jjj understood the situation. i felt like that's the message your superstar leader sends, and jjj received it. come up with a different move, brother.

iirc, i think it set up the play where rui took jjj's charge by standing in. one of the announcers (svg?) tried to say rui "sold" it. but imo, he didn't. he stood his ground and got knocked over, and the refs had seen how hard jjj was having to ram guys to get those hooks off.

anyway, i love it when lebron takes the challenge against low post bruisers. he did it in the olympics for a couple plays on jokic, and i think it was really impactful there, too. it just says, hey: we've got one guy here who you can't plow through and whom the officials respect (AD, sadly, gets none of that).

That play you refer to - late, and JJJ trying to back down our "center" at that moment - Lebron James - who gave back as much what was being dealt: JJJ misses the 8 footer, Bron, turns around and gets the board? When you see that, you realize how much you miss it. We don't see it nearly often enough.

JJJ can hook AD and get a foul called on AD; Lebron will not get called for that if JJJ tries that on him. One reason AD was in foul trouble. The refs were pretty bad, I thought.
