    Couple things from Stein today...

    Nets
    Da Bulls

Both Nets and Bulls are playing too well. Tanking teams overachieving in a loaded draft is good news for us wanting to deal in December.

Dlo/JHS/Wood to Brooklyn for Johnson/Wilson. Then, sign Olivari to regular NBA contract.

I'm not sure what Chicago's salary situation is, but Rui/Vincent for Vucevic/Dusonmu works perfect 28 million for 28 million. Vuc fills back up center spot, and Dusonmu is a good perimeter defender, particularly good at defending the three with his length. Ayo is having a miserable season offensively, like Gabe, but he at least has offensive upside. Lakers basically turn Rui into a back up center, who is also capable of allowing AD to play some 4.

    Damn another injury
Holmgren was helped to the locker room in the first quarter after landing on his right hip while attempting a block on Andrew Wiggins. Given the hard fall, it wouldn't be surprising if Holmgren is held out Monday against the Clippers.
    And then some more
Malik Monk limped off the court to the locker room early in the second quarter after spraining his right ankle.

'Dang, that sucks. But there you go, everyone was saying, he and Wemby may just be too thin to last long in this league.

i've been very surprised that wemby has been basically injury-free so far. maybe they truly did figure out how to keep someone with his body type healthy?

how often do guys break hips in basketball? seems really rare.

I would ask Detroit if Harris and Hardaway are attainable. They are much older than the timeframe of that team.

Typically November is too early for trades but the Nets may need to start tanking harder lol. They’re 4-6 which is good for 7th in the East. Meanwhile Dallas is 5-5 and they’re 11th.

i think they wanted some adults in the room. i'm sure we could get hardaway, but i'm not sure we want him that badly. malik beasley failed here, and i think they're fairly similar in a lot of ways.

i don't see why they'd move harris after they just signed him and he seems to be doing what they hoped.

good chance 11th place in the west is a +.500 team this year, while the east's full play-in slate could be at or below .500. it sucks.

Yeah I wouldn’t take Hardaway without Harris and with how bad the east is they might be a play in team

Nets are playing way too well.
They need to give up Cam Johnson and Schroeder to the Lakers to fix this. Make it happen Rob.

i think their top 6 are solid and will all be good and up over .500, barring further injury, but yeah, so many gimmes on the schedule if you're an EC team.

yipes. getting a bit ahead, but i wonder how far they have to fall behind before they consider blowing it up (i.e., moving ingram, cj, and zion).

if i'm them, i'd strongly consider this option at this point. ingram's expiring and you're not close on an extension. cj's aging and has one year left (could definitely get a 1st and expirings from a contender, imo), and zion is just a whole issue.

you can finish 12th without all that.

watch them go on an improbable run now...

The Pelicans seriously need to consider, hiring a medical staff, that has expertise in working with "Basketball " players.

Yeah. A lot of issues in that Pelicans organization.
