No one could do much with D*ck (LOL) and Barrett.

I still wish D!ck dropped to us last year… I would have bought every iteration of Laker D!ck jerseys… why can’t we have good things

We started really well as I predicted. Too bad we didn't sustain it. Still a comfortable win but we could have put the game away so many times.
What I haven't been enjoying is our inability to capitalize when the opponent is weaker. They played some lineups where Barrett was the only offensive player and instead of making Mitchell, Poeltl or the rookie make plays, Barrett was able to generate offense.
Same happened with Cleveland that had Garland and Mobley in foul trouble and had Wade and Niang playing together. We should make a better work taking the ball out of the main players and punish these less offense savvy guys

We are also still not making enough threes. We are 28th in attempts. We should have each game at least one of Reaves, DLo and Knecht going off at some point in the game

I hope the defensive lapses don’t turn into a pattern. If they had Barnes, we would have lost.
JJ and staff hopefully are telling them that they won’t be able to just outscore the good teams and expect to win.

Waaaaay too early in the season to be down by 20 to the Pistons.
    Pathetic.
Get AD more help. He literally has to do everything for this team.

that's what's called a reversion to the mean, at the end of the day this roster as currently constructed is no better than a play-in spot at best and no coach is going to change that.

Just disgusting. No effort, no pride, no nothing. It's not about the talent in the team, it's the effort. After a 3-0 start and an opportunity to build some momentum and start fresh, we just don't give a crap.

Feel bad for AD, he's doing everything and more. He lacked effort sometimes with us, but he's been rock solid this year. Hope he's not hurt and if there's anything lingering there, I would rest him against Memphis, playing like this we're getting killed either way.

I'm in favor of a shake up in the lineup, JJ needs to send a message to the team. He already did with Max, Knecht and Hayes today, not playing them in the 2nd half. The bench sucks but maybe if integrated in the lineup the team works better as a group. Gabe for DLo would be my move to shake things up a bit.

Rui disappeared in the last 3 games too, not just scoring but also rebounding where he was improving. I will still start him because of the lack of options, but he needs a shake too.

Hope we learn from this and improve moving forward. Talent is there as we saw in the first 4 games, I can't excuse lack of effort in a sport they are paid millions to play. I hate it so much.

We need to do something about our bench. Zero scoring production.

AD needs some help. He's gonna be worn down and hurt if we keep having to over use him like this. We are running him into the ground and he's already limping

That was just embarrassing. We got destroyed by a much lesser team. Awful performance.

The things that kills me is DET was on a BTB, but we played like we were. Young, fast teams are still killin' us. I mean, we finally beat SAC already this season, but 3 more games. OKC? Avert your eyes!

D-Lo, AR and Rui shot something like 7 for 29 before the 4th Q against D.

All in all, we are not deep. It's glaring.

Totally agree with the ones who think that JJ could do something with the starting lineup, trying to get the 2nd unit better.
It's clear that we have to lose something in the starting lineup to give power to the bench.

In my opinion, DLo in the 2nd unit could give to Knecht an help in terms of shooting and offense creation. The rookie is a great shooter and NBA offensive player, but he's paying too much the lack of playmaking in the 2nd unit.
