So does this mean we don't have to send out Swagy to clear for the Hibbert / Bass / Lou acquisitions?

Hopefully Sacre and Kelly. I never wanted Swaggy gone. Kelly is redundant at this point with Nance, Brown, Bass and Sacre well, Sacre sucks a** and Upshaw is about dominate Jah/Towns to get that guaranteed deal.

Yeah I'm assuming it just seals or unseals the fate of certain Lakers on roster right now.

Fully agree. With the (hopefully) added offense we have now, Nick Young can start becoming more of a spot up shooter and he's a more than decent 3 point shooter. Even during the last season when he was injured he was more than okay from deep at 36.9%.

As long as the trade goes through...I'm assuming they planned to send a few more players over because of the lower projected number. Now that the cap number is higher, less players will be included.

Is the commish gonna step in at all? They're making a mockery of free agency.

That really doesn't make sense unless the Pacers really want some of the Mavs players. They can get rid of Hibbert without having to take anything back and the Lakers can absorb the trade kicker. Plus, Bird will not do that to a team where there is a deal in place.

I read somewhere it was a Monta for Hibbert S&T before they went after DJ. They might revive that. Question is... will Bird? Bird got cap relief AND he just signed Monta outright. Involving Cuban again would just take more work.

As much as I would like to see it, Silver won't have any leverage and likely won't get involved. What's he going to do? Force Jordan to stick to his verbal commitment? The Mavericks can't even set up a second meeting or were already rebuffed. I just don't want this cluster**** situation affecting the Hibbert deal.
