No worries, the NADA carry on. I thought you were replying to my KL post but I saw it in the Clipper page so I deleted it

I'm a horrible human being but I just f***ing hate Westbrook as a basketball player and to see his team suffer when he plays brings me joy

OKC is going to be a problem this year. Shai is even better, Chet is past his Bambi stage and the Eagle looks good in their system.

The Nuggets window is closed, losing KCP and adding Russ is too much to overcome. I would love to see them in the playoffs this year if Bob Todd ever decides to improve the roster at some point and we make it in.

Caruso is so effing good, he fits any team and just makes it better.
Surprised he didn't start, and played less minutes than Joe, Wallace and Wiggins. Regardless...surprise, surprise...he had the best +/- at +19. He's so good

yet another team "just doesn't know how to use him".

    mike malone:

adding eagle and hartenstein for nothing (sorry, just not a fan of giddey) to a team that virtually finished on top of the conference means they're going to win a lot of games.

OKC is the favorite to come out of the west this year and rightfully so. That Giddey would've sparked a league wide revolt if we tried something similar.

    Lol. Yeah.

At this point, I'd add Mallone to that list as well. The chance to watch both fail does bring me a lot of happiness. I can't lie. lol

it's a long season, but i don't see why a healthy dallas squad wouldn't beat them again, tbh.

i think bud will have phx playing more to their strengths than vogel could, so i view them along with denver and minny on a tier below dal/okc to start things off this year.

I feel like the Thunder should be able to get past the Mavs this year but I could see the Luka leading them past them.

yeah, the mavs will have the best player in the series pretty much every series, and the supporting cast is probably stronger this year than it ever has been.

that said, healthy boston still beats anyone. i just can't believe their luck will last two full years.

Yep, 3 guys on that team that I will be more than happy to watch fail. F'em. Frankly, Jokic is getting close to that list too.

i still like jokic. both his game and his general persona. the only times i'm ever mad at jokic is when he takes a lot of advantage of his mvp treatment from officials, just sort of randomly shoving guys to test boundaries and such. it's nowhere near harden bad or cp3 bad in terms of on-court antics, but if he's not on my team, i get annoyed. for example, he's constantly using his physicality to get very cheap calls against AD when we play them. it drives AD absolutely nuts, and lebron is our only player that the refs show enough respect to not to just rule in favor of jokic every single time.

His antics are against other teams too. Been watching more of Jokic and he gets into some petty stupid stuff with other players. It is getting to the point where I would love to see someone closer to his size punk him down a bit. Challenge him back where he might think twice about it.
