Yeah he has a great chance considering this class seem mediocre at the moment, it’s like the 2000 draft class
That's exactly who he reminds me of. Only with a Klay Thompson shooting form, and Kobe Bryant 38-inch max vertical.
He's going to be a star. I have no idea how this guy fell so far. Competed on defense particularly since he's able to play "big" relative to his size. On offense he's just not bad at anything - his handle is good enough where he can take it to the rack in transition for example. Then what gives him a chance to be special is that ridiculous elevation on the jumper. Throw in he totally crushed the Wolves playing him for the jumper by a couple of great dump off passes for easy Laker buckets. I wouldn't be surprised if by mid season if his minutes are almost reaching starter level as the top guy off the Lakers bench
Stepped right into it no hesitation and drilled his first NBA shot from 3 top of the key. A tremendous pick up and cornerstone for the future post LeBron with AD and Reaves.
I don't know how we could deal with his lackness on defense, but we need his instant shooting skills. Flashes of what he's able to do in that 2nd quarter, I'm very optimistic about him.
First 3 plays in NBA: - knocks a long 3 - passes to a dunk in a P&R - drives to the basket in transition and finishes with a layup Really promising. Amazing pick
Did quite well, IMO. He'll get more minutes for sure, but it was a solid start of the season for the rookie.
that was a really nice pass. if he actually has that kind of vision/passing in his bag, that's another thing i hadn't really seen from the college footage.
