With his contract being such a great bargain, I would be willing to replace the two seconds with one protected first. Not so much for Richards the player, but the contract is very good.

 

I am a huge fan of them as a radio show. But are you telling me there is such a shortage of radio broadcasters that the Lakers could not find a better candidate for such a prestigious franchise in a humungous market? Do you think he has a great radio voice?

Yeah, Lebron would be a much better coach than GM. Maybe Lebron and AD invited Westbrook for a barbeque, and maybe they got some ideas after a few drinks, I guess. They are human beings. Who knows. That is called thinking emotionally instead of with your brain. Maybe they talked themselves into it. These moves were more to appease the two stars, not just Lebron. I know AD is the beta, but still.

 

I think JHS will remain on the roster until DLO is extended. Just my theory.

 

I really don’t put too much emphasis on play by play guys of any sports they don’t bother me at all, I can always mute them . But I get it Ireland gets hate because of the ESPN tag .

Nothing, he seems like a nice enough guy. Darvin seems like a nice guy too.

Ireland used to be on tv when Lakers were on KCAL, did you dislike him back then too ?

 

I don't dislike him. I just think they could of hired of hired a better play by play guy. He was okay as a sideline reporter, they are used very minimally compared to play by play. The old TV guys after Chick were Sunderland and Bill Myers I think. Myers was actually pretty good.

 

sunderland was so boring. i really enjoyed meyers and was bummed when they didn't bring him back. billy mac is decent

 

Billy Mac is decent on TV but would probably be bad on the radio. They could have done better with that hire, too. Billy Mac and Stu make passive-aggressive comments to each other, it's annoying.

True. The Dodgers TV crew are pretty good right now though. It took a while to fine-tune that. Their radio broadcasts are horrid, though. Even the Dodger insider guy Vassay is bad. He's like their equivalent of Ireland.

 

Joe Davis annoys me ! I hate that guy

 

I don't watch a lot of games tbh so idk. He seemed good compared to Rick Monday and those guys though.

 

In any case, we will see if the Lakers make a trade soon.
