    i don't think his stats were great, but to me, he jumped out as a guy who might have an nba future (most of them did not). problem is he's not a center. but he seemed like a high iq, mobile big forward with some developing skills.

    He may be starting the path to be a GM in NBA in the future. He has the connections and media relationship, wouldn't be surprised.
    I liked his statement, looks like he was valuing self-growth and personal realization which are great traits

    i can easily see how that job could get exhausting. your whole life revolves around being on your phone 24/7 in order to stay up to date with everything happening throughout the league up to the second

    no family time or vacations. no time for anything else really

    For the longest time that was my dream job. Being that plugged in would be awesome. Now that I'm approaching 40, hell no. For someone like Shams, do it for as long as you can, spin it into a position with a team down the road or something. Once you get older it seems borderline impossible to keep the same pace for years.
