Hayes in particular would be so much more effective with some added strength.

As usual, the downloadable calendar @ lakers.com sucks. Missing games all over the place. For example, if you import it, it has no games in October. None. :(

Those are your usual suspects (ESPN, TNT, ABC), plus Amazon starting next year. Basically: two new partners are set to join ESPN/ABC in televising the NBA in the 2025–26 season, with NBC Sports and Amazon Prime Video replacing TNT. TNT will try something to retain at least some of the rights, but we don't know exactly how that's going to look like.

I hate when we get the same opponents a bunch of times in a short span. Three games against Phoenix before the end of November but we don't play the Clippers at all until mid-January. They probably don't want to see the new fancy stadium immediately overrun.

playing any single opponent back to back in the regular season is a mess, imo. i get why they've moved to it more often, but it makes an artificial balance. if you're the inferior team, you want that situation, imo.

re: clips--oh yeah, ballmer lobbied hard to keep us out of there for as long as possible. lakers fans overrun stadiums in atlanta and charlotte. right next door will be a similar situation to sharing the building.

Trying to stay afloat til the trade deadline and then facing stretches like this will be.. challenging.

i'd rather have the toughest stretches later, i guess. if we're frontloaded like we have been a lot lately, you struggle out of the gate and lose leverage in negotiations, not to mention losing the fans early.

    schedule shmedule

    playoff teams are playoff teams

Either we are or we aren't, but if we are legit contenders, we are not worried about the schedule.

We must not be legit contenders...

According to BetMGM, Wembanyama has staggering -250 odds to win his first (of many) DPOTY awards next season. Rounding out the top five are Gobert (+900), Bam Adebayo (+1600), Giannis Antetokounmpo (+1600), and Jaren Jackson Jr (+1800). There's also Chet Holmgren
Ok there's no Davis we used to that ,but where is Caruso and some other players

lol, yes, chet holmgren and jaren jackson are substanially better defenders than AD. i just finished watching kerr have to take adebayo out because nando de colo finished right in his mug, only to watch AD just fly swat an iso attempt from three by fournier a few plays later. but yes, adebayo is more "versatile". don't get me started on gobert.
