New 4 part documentary on Apple Plus. Interviews with Magic, Kareem, Obama, Clinton, Spike Lee, Arsenio, and many many more. From his childhood, to Michigan State, to the Lakers and his rivalries. Ups and downs of career. 3 broken engagements. 3 retirements. Business affairs. His children and his need to change versus his son changing who he is. Probably the best thing I've watched in the past year. And yes, you'll get in your feelings a few times. 8.2 on IMDB
Dang, deceptive bump to this thread lol I haven’t seen John post in a minute so got excited he was back on LB. We had our differences that we’d argue about, but I always thought he was a good dude and strong poster
could we have separate "magic the player" and "magic the coach/president/pundit" threads? or are those just the optimism and wmc, respectively?
6' 9" point guard Look how high he dribbled the ball He was so smooth and the game was natural to him His passing and finding the right guy was amazing Got all his teammates involved
I no longer hold Magic in the same regard. His post playing days may be full of success, but there’s been enough shenanigans that he’s lost his luster. I almost cringe whenever he tweets or opens his mouth these days.
Kobe eclipsed Magic as my favorite player of all time. I don’t think anyone will come and be able to knock him off that spot.
