And Kerr takes the ball out of James hands completely and run the offense thru White who shouldn't even be in the game. Just Wtf
I honestly don't understand at all what Kerr was doing the whole f***ing game. You could see this coming with the lineups (White and Edwards in the game and not Holiday) and the plays called (Lebron didn't touch the ball till the last possession)
He is doing that his whole FIBA career That's why USA lost to Germany and Canada last year at world cup
Barely surviving to this team doesn’t bode well. But, LeBron with the go ahead layup and AD disrupts the final shots on the other end, good stuff from our guys
Getting outscored by 21pts from the Three Point Line by South Sudan is not a good look.. 25% to 42% shooting from 3.. USA needs to ramp up their perimeter Defense, big time..
it should be foul on Edwards at the end.Well, it's a friendly game USA lost 3 quarters out of 4,and if it's not run in 3rd quarter they would lose and USA in same group with Sudan at Olympics
It's short 3 point line and Sudan just got every 3 with hand in its face. It a lot like the NCAA tournament when a team just gets hot and the combination of the shorter 3 point line creates high variance I'm not worried about the talent, I am worried about the coaching. @KuzmoBall17 pointed out Kerr does some weird s***. Last run he refused to play a C against these gigantic teams and this game was just bizarre. He's got to get Embiid f***ing off the court and actually play the best lineups. I absolutely have no idea why Holiday didn't finish the game and was passed u by Edward and White. I knew Sudan was going to make a run to catch up when I saw that. White couldn't finish and Edwards defense was terrible the whole game
Edited my post above a bit to say at least our Lakers showed up big. But yeah coaching is my concern as well, and Kerr isn’t going anywhere, so that’s part of why it doesn’t bode well.
Don't think he owns a mirror. He's the worst C on our roster. Sad that AD, Bron and Holiday had to save us in this one. Vegas had us winning that one by 41. Not bad old man
Can't wait until LeBron and his way of playing the game of basketball, with capable players around him, is off the team and we can bring in a more likable generations-spanning superstar with our late lottery - late 1st round picks going forward.
even with all those superstars, its 39 year old lebron who continues to be relied on the most. incredible
Eat bleep Embiid for whatever that weird stream of quotes was about a couple days ago. Look in the mirror …. that’s You.
LeBron is still one of the 4 or 5 best basketball players in the world, he just can't do it every night anymore because he's 39 years old. Its a joke that Tatum shows up higher on player rankings now, watch them both play for 10 minutes when LeBron is actually trying and its obvious he's the better player. In general, I hate how "availability" has just become a way to claim lesser players are somehow better than superior players. I'm not the biggest Embiid fan in the world, but there are people out there who think Tatum should be regarded as a better basketball player than Tatum because of Tatum's availability. That's insane. Most of "availability" is just luck. Embiid missed most of the second half of the season because Kuminga fell into the back of his leg, if that happened to Tatum he's missing those games too.
After Germany made a few 3 point shots USA dominated and finished quarter on 21 -6 run and Davis already with block and 5 points
