Yeah he looks nice! That said, with his handle and crossovers and juking and footwork, if AR wants to take him a little under HIM's wing and teach him the finer points of some of those moves with the handles ..... especially the way HIM uses his footwork to set up his ankle breaking crossover, it sure would help.
There’s something’s that HIM just won’t be able to teach. Either you were born with some of that ability and honed it through time, or you weren’t. That’s okay, because Dalton has enough other skills to have a very good career.
Setting up his crossover with kind of the unique (compared to many other guys) way he uses his footwork IMO is just something he got a tip on or saw someone else doing, and then kept putting a heck of a lot of work in with practice practice practice. Same thing with his handle .... it's clearly better than his first year here and maybe at some point the old standard take of AR can't handle pressure defense well enough to play the point won't said as much ..... especially since he does it already a third of the game anyway setting up the offense, driving and breaking down the defense and dishing assists with his outstanding passing and court vision.
I obviously remember the game. This commercial in particular? NO. I was born after they discovered fire.
He looks fantastic and I hope we don't plan on shutting him down even if he continues to play this well. I think he has a shot at cracking the rotation, potentially even leapfrogging someone like Christie. What a steal of a pick man...we literally got an NBA rotation player fall in our lap and he has the potential to get better...even though he's 23. He'll be our Jaime Jaquez this year...
I have a feeling that him, Reaves and DLO are gonna hang out a lot. I also think Christie could become part of that group too... I already know I'm goign to be annoyed when we have Gabe Vincent in there instead of Knecht...
Some defensive staff person explain to him and get him into at least some first adjustments into a crouching position on defense. It's not going to be tough on his quads LOL he can jump like a stud off those suckers. Not rocket science Dalton ... step your D up.
WUT?! Just telling the new LB lurker Knecht to bend his knees and start getting the mechanics of better D … as per Cranjis and others saying and showing with clips how being too upright is hurting him.
Our boy is limited like most of our players, let’s appreciate what he can do and not what he can’t, it’s better for our mental health
You can’t convince me the dude can’t bend his knees and learn how to move better on defense. That boy wants to shoot the ball and has to be in the rotation to do it as much as he wants. The ole carrot and stick.
I still see a little bit of Bird in him Some of his moves are really smooth and looking forward to seeing more from him
