That one ? He played for Clippers in summer league Morrison finished his run in Vegas making 13-of-21 shots from downtown (61.9%) and averaging 20.0 points and 5.0 rebounds
My expectations for him is unrealistic lol but jittery first game. The Free throw woes is a problem and is a big peeve of mine here, he needs to improve on that
The Lakers effect already being felt by this young guy Really sad how shooters just fall apart when they are on our team
He’ll be fine, it’s a couple summer league games with a crazy unorganized offense and G-League players running the “point”. Put him next to better players and run stuff to get him open shots and he’ll find his way, there’s always an adjustment period. Hell even Wemby looked bad to start summer league last year.
in the first game, i think that arms guy was trash talking him after one play, and he got the ball and went right at him for paint bucket on the next play. he's got some dawg in him. like lebron said, you can't box score watch summer league. it's such a mess. knecht will be fine; i don't care if he shoots 20% for the summer league, he can shoot.
can't squeeze the time to watch Summer League this year, but hoping we picked at least two gems we'll be really happy about long term. And they don't even need to be our draft picks. Basically what I'm saying is two BESIDES Bronny. I don't feel like he even counts tbh - not until he shows he belongs.
They seem as I was hoping would happen to be giving Castleton the green light and encouraging more aggressiveness on offense …. especially with taking the ball up the floor on the break and if he gets a step just take it all the way. And same in half court plus the 3s when open and mid range Js. He’s not converting a lot of those drives but no reason he shouldn’t be able to if he beats his man. But rebounding damn he needs to have someone in his face about it as he doesn’t seem to go for the ball hard even when he’s not that out of position to at least make the attempt. And yes defense needs work. Needs a lot of minutes with the 2-way during season to see if he’s going to be a keeper or not.
I love Knecht! Can't wait to see him on the floor with Reaves .... all the pearl clutchers about his defense notwithstanding. He's like Reaves. His game Pops, plus he's got the athleticism and a bullying frame on him with the toughness to use it on defenders going to the basket. He's a tremendously skilled and competitive "gamer" like AR. He has IT. SCOREBOARD 17th pick!!
Agreed LT. this kid is gonna be solid for the next 10+ years. I doubt he’ll be a star, but I see an 18ppg guy no problem. He’s making all the right reads and he has that IT dog in him to keep attacking no matter what.
