that bit with jrue was kinda funny. i think AD has more personality than lets the fans see, kinda like duncan.
Greece and Giannis eliminated Croatia and Spain eliminated Bahamas . And winner of Lithuania -Puerto Rico will be playing in Paris too
This is why he's built to be a Laker. He's put in the work and continues to do so. Last one in the room in a room full of HOF'ers, that's something. That and he gets the showmanship of it all. He's already starred in a movie. Now just avoid the Nick Cannon trajectory you're on and hopefully Bron and AD can lay the groundwork. Bron will likely be gone by the point he would join us, but AD should still be around.
Yeah, injuries could f*** them this year if we're already dealing with this AND force Bron and AD to do more, as well. Don't like that. Kawhi and Embiid are two they're being cautious with. I saw Steph's hand was bothering him after practice today. KD isn't healthy. Might need ANT to put the team on his back, which he's good with.
Is it a weird mindset to think that others should just slot in around you when you haven’t been there before, aren’t obviously the best, and the goal is to win rather than increase your brand? Or am I old?
no, it's definitely a weird mindset. but lots of these guys have it, and one could argue that being completely irrationally confident is often helpful in this profession. jamal murray recently: it's not exactly the same, but it's similarly--perhaps more--detached from reality. there is no universe where murray is in the running for greatest ever or second-greatest current. i think both he and ant know deep down that these things aren't true, but they have to say them to keep their mindset, which has helped them succeed.
Its always interesting what reporters note about these Olympic practices. Last time it was clearly Durant and the two Bucks which made a difference but also how guys like Lavine just looked so much more athletic than dudes like Booker and Lillard. Curious to see who they think AD and old man Bron stack up now.
