yeah, i try to to keep either gabe or dlo in all trade situations that don't bring back a pg.

that said...phil jackson would have created a very solid offense out of lavine/reaves/lebron/AD/center. i know, modern era, threes, etc., but there are ways. especially with lavine, reaves, and lebron all being very capable ballhandlers. whoever isn't being covered by the opposition's best defender initiates the offense.

dinwiddie or dennis smith jr. signs up to be the backup pg.

Damn. Good depth snag for them. They had a hell of a summer IF they stay healthy. Nice to see someone interested in slowing down Boston -- Philly and NY. Rest of the East just said f*** it.

If we don’t make any moves, the LeGM nonsense can officially die for good.

Why? Another twig at 220 6’9” …… Hayes will probably be better in a 2nd year if still here.

paul reed on a vet min would be this year's version of monk/walker/wood, imo.

i'd probably still rather see if charlotte would take hayes/reddish for nick richards, though. feel like that deal makes some sense for both teams. throw mitch a second rounder for his troubles.

Is Mitch still there? Thought I read he was retiring …. maybe not. What does Richards make and how many years left? They would do to get off his salary for 25-26?

I gotta ask… do you actually know anything about Reed’s game or did you look up his height and judge him fully based on that?

He might be listed a few inches shorter than Hayes, but he plays much bigger. Reed would be MUCH better than Hayes or Wood.

He had a 30 points and 13 rebound game against Jokic this year.

Yeah I think it's an upgrade. Barnes is washed. Huerter is nice for them but he isn't as good as DeMar. DD gives them a pure bucket they missed. That consistency will be good for them, I like it

It would be amazing if we got Reed. Don't we have a mini-MLE? We do need to open roster spots, this is where Bronny is costing us

Reed does lack some size compared to WCJ and Richards but he plays just as big as those two. And he's started adding the long range shot last season. He's a really good back up and was still able to put up numbers when Embiid was injured.

oh that's right, mitch stepped down.

still would like to make this move if possible. richards has one year beyond this (maybe fully non-guaranteed, though?), but he's behind mark williams there. hayes gives them a change of pace and richards gives us one.
