    Clippers will certainly ask for Kuminga but I'm not sure how much leverage they have here. As you were saying earlier in the week, it was dumb for PG to downplay any potential cap space team as a potential suitor. He needs the viable threat of signing into someone's cap space to force the Clippers to take what they can get from the Warriors (which seems like his preferred destination).

    I'm not so sure with him bringing all his baggage at this stage of his career

    On one hand I can see him as possibly good influence on the young guys

    On the other hand it could backfire

    There are other options out there, so IMO we should not bring him in

    He'd be an interesting pickup but I'm not sure we'll be able to offer him more than the TPMLE which is right around the option he just declined. I don't think he'd be a great use of the nontaxpayer MLE if it is available to us.

    Borrego just took his name out of the running for the Detroit job. I think he stays in NO, but another self-inflicted ouch for the Pistons.

    He probably decided that he didn’t want to live in Basketball Siberia. I don’t blame him. There will be other opportunities for him to become a HC at the end of this season.

    So much for that idea. I would have really liked Murray on this team.
