yeah, i'm not at all concerned. if you want to get mad, get mad about the likely guaranteed roster spot. but there's a reasonable chance bronny is better than a lot of guys drafted ahead of him in the long run. but almost all those guys will be on two-ways or less.

though, tbh, the roster spot is worth it if lebron will shut up at the trade deadline for once. it would take every ounce of my strength if i were the FO who had given your kid a guaranteed contract and you a contract at at least 130% of your current value, only to have you ask me why the roster isn't better.

I didn’t know Thanasis was even drafted

Or somehow embed Bronny’s total earnings in LeBron’s contract as a negative performance disincentive

I don't mind this at all. Like Cookie said, we have known for months or longer this was going to happen. Seems a little something to get mad about it now. Bronny is a reasonably good defender that needs to develop other skills. I find it much easier to pull for Bronny than I do LeBron...lol.

I’m fine with it, as long as they didn’t use a first rounder.. plus it seems that we got a solid player in Knecht

The only thing I don’t like about this (besides finding it a little creepy what Rich Paul was telling teams to get him here, thought LeBron said he was cool with him going anywhere and finding his own path, but ok) is that Paul as said Bronny isn’t taking a 2-way deal, so this is a full roster spot. We don’t have many of those right now, so if we aren’t making some like 2-1 or 3-1 deal or deals we are not going to see this roster improve or change much.

You can always tell the chumps when they start using lame justifications to try and prove a stupid comparison. Classic manipulation.

Lakers are owned by a moron. Run by a fake a** snake oil salesman. And Lebron James is a narcissistic franchise cancer with a bunch of wannabe cronies who have their careers because they have their tongues up his a** 24/7.

Anyone want to come on the podcast and argue with me in those points is welcome. I'll be done with the podcast soon because I'm not watching this reality show horse**** with all these f***ing zombies who love watching reality trash.

This is suppose to be about winning championships not making Hallmark tv shows. f*** Lebron James and everyone who sucks his d***. Scum bags.

I would lock Bronny in a room for 2hours a day for the next year where he watches nothing but defensive film of Gary Payton, Jrue Holiday, Caruso, Kobe, MJ, and Shane Battier

giving Bronny a full roster spot might end up biting us in the a**. Regarding the 55th pick, I couldn't care less.

It may actually be another step to getting Bryce. Bryce's gonna be a much better player than Bronny.

It's got nothing to f***ing do with the pick. It's in the manor this was done. The LA f***ing Lakers are letting a player run their team. Letting a player agent dictate their decisions on their team. Drafting family members who they can make wishes come true. Does this look like an organization focused on winning championships?!!!

Is it that hard to understand?

The more Lebron centric this franchise gets in catering to watch Kluth and Lebron want the longer this team will be mediocre and not competing for a championship.

The pick is not the problem but the intention which is pleasing and catering to Lebron.

they brought in Westbrook but traded away multiple roles players

they let Caruso walk because they needed to pay and develop THT

they make him play forward so he can have multiple shooters on the floor

The constant pleading and bowing down to Lebron is taking the franchise further away from what matters….RINGS

He can’t work with coaches and deflects issues to coaching and management and other players and rarely takes responsibility.

the Bubble ring seems more like an outlier than was something to be proud of.

Laker brand and history tarnished because of Lebrons tenure

    - A passionate Laker fan
